Staff was very polite. Hotel was clean. Close proximity to LGA with a shuttle that runs every 15 mins.
Close to LGA. We were only there for 7 hours before a flight out. The A/C was loud which helped to drown out the noise of the traffic, but when the A/C cycled off, the traffic was loud. The TV randomly tuned in at 2am, interrupting our already short night. The bathroom was tiny and the beds were only full sized. Our 7 hours of interrupted sleep in small beds for the low price of $410. Ridiculous.
Right next to LGA - perfect for a late flight that got cancelled
the entrance to the property is hideous
The property was in a good location near Astoria which is where my niece lived that we were visiting.
The lock on the door stopped working the first of the three nights.
It has a nice bar and restaurant and the food was good
Reception was great! Location too!
Sheets did not smell good!
Great comfortable beds. Restaurants was also pretty good.
Better gym facilities

Pillows!
Not much
Extremely expensive for a room that offered very little. Two of us had allergic reactions to something in the room - I left with a hoarse voice and barely slept. It was loud - street noise was significant (of course the highway was right under our window…for almost $400 a room).
When we got in, we were told the folding bed was an extra 20$ despite the fact that we checked the box for an extra bed on booking.com and there was no charge mentioned.
Also when we got in, we were told WiFi was an extra 12$ a day. At this time for a hotel to still charge for wifi is preposterous. I mentioned I had a Bonvoy account - glad I even thought of it.
In sum, we were greeted with extra charges over extra charges that we had to negotiate out of. The hotel was a racket more than anything else. For people tired after 24 hours of travel and a canceled flight, it was insult to injury. Unpleasant to say the least.
The staff was great, from the person on the phone when I booked this last minute stay due to a flight cancellation to the front desk clerk when I checked in, to the server in the bar. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special kudos to front desk staff, they were always friendly in spite of dealing with with lots of last minute guests like me.
Nothing, All good
WORST STAFF EVER. My wife Meredith who is a loyal Marriott member recently had her wedding ring stolen by a housekeeper. Mind you this housekeeper left the band to stage it as though she’s the hero. Don’t trust the staff. We should not have had to replace her ring I picked out for her due to a thief. And Marriott doesn’t seem to care so beware before booking so you don’t go through the same thing as we are.
