I enjoyed the amenities in the room. The staff, when checking in, was very friendly and helpful.
I booked a king size but was given a room with a queen size bed.
We booked in December. When we arrived, you just started 5-10 days before, a daily charge for parking. Since this was not the case when we booked, we should have at least received a notice before we arrived that you were adding an additional fee. That was jot expected of a place like the Marriott.
We also had a fire alarm when we were there. Many, many elderly had to go down the stairs. My husband is disabled and had a rough time. Another lady came down with us and had to be checked out by paramedic. The fire department personnel were great. The staff seems very cavalier about the whole thing. It was a false alarm due to someone using a steamer for their clothes.
Location was great close to everything we needed. Room was clean and was very quiet.
The elevator was a little scary sounding but otherwise fine.
The front desk staff was very helpful on ahold out night they were helpful and the room was amazing. Clean smelled good and a great view.
Where to begin.. Only one elevator is working (for a 12 floor hotel). wifi stopped working in the room one morning. Went down in the AM to buy some caffeine, no one at front desk for at least 10 minutes.
Hotel is old and worn down. Wont stay here again
When I pulled up out front to go in and check in I slipped on the wet floor at the main entrance rotating door I went down on 1 knee and grabbed the handle/bar on the rotating door to pull myself up! I was so embarrassed I told the lady at the check in desk who got a manager! The manager immediately grabbed a paper that I had to fill out an incident report and didn’t even ask if I was ok or if need anything didn’t offer a free water nothing! I then asked the lady at check in about public transportation if there was a local bus or train to go to Wrigley field! She told me “I don’t live around here you can google it” I was so thrown off by this response! She definitely didn’t take the extra step to help me at all as she rolled her eyes as I said “ google it I know I can google it” mind u I just wiped out at the front door! The best part was they had free parking for our rental car and a Starbucks on the premises! Location was perfect if you like shopping as the mall was directly across the street and lots of restaurants all in walking distance!

I don’t like the fact that breakfast ends at 9:00 AM and I payed for breakfast but I didn’t get a chance to eat it because I came down at 9:00 AM
