The hotel was excellent and the staff were great. The front desk staff were all excellent and the guys at the front who open the doors were amazing.
The hotel was clean and with a nice vibe.
Love the price & location
Not long enough
We had a one bedroom suite with a queen size bed and sofa bed in main room so 3 of us were able to sleep on different beds. We were on the 14th floor and had a nice view which we enjoyed. The kitchen area was nice to have. I had oatmeal, yogurt and cheese strings for breakfast. The blue walls of the pool area are soothing though hot tub could be bigger. Make sure you request a robe so you have it for the pool. No real complaints. I think my mom wasn't happy with the pillows. I think it was worth it to get bigger room. We relaxed on the sofa too. Enjoyed the sunset. Convenient location.
Excellent location.
Staff emails were very rude. It appeared they did not like getting a booking from a third party site. The fitness center was very sub par. The breakfast was not free and no coffee was even offered in the morning at the front desk.
The staff were so helpful and interesting to chat to. Herb and Dave were so helpful and gave us the best tips.
It’s a great property. Well maintained, welcoming and a block off the harbour!
We were happy with everything.
Loved having the two king beds and the kitchenette. Great location and gym facility.
The over height parking is a bit far and not covered.
Great location, nice spacious room
Car park is quite tight
Excellent location. Staff check in friendly and easy. Staff member explained all the hotel amenities. The apples on thd front desk are a nice touch. A local hotel shuttle was available and Glenn the driver went out of his way to tell us of the sites we passed. Would definitely recommend and if it's a family book book the 2 bedroom suite, so spacious.
Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Bett war prima, hatte keine Rückenschmerzen und wunderbar geschlafen.
Der Pool war etwas überholungsbedürftig, was die Fugen betrifft.
I very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the wharf, China town, theatre, and main downtown attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and available to answer questions. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The undercover parking was handy, but it is an additional charge if booked outside of the hotel. Breakfast in Vista 18 (top floor restaurant) was lovely. As the name suggests, the vista is amazing from that floor. I would stay at the Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites again.
I was in town only one night, so in that short time, I didn’t find anything major that I really didn’t like. If I had to comment on one thing, I found the hotel services information accessed on the tv not that easy to follow. I tried to find the restaurant menu for Vista 18. The tv instructions said to use a QR code, but I could not find a QR code. There was a menu button, but I could not navigate the remote to select it. That was frustrating, so instead of previewing the menu and booking a reservation, I took a chance and went to the restaurant Sunday morning for breakfast. Because I didn’t have a reservation, I did have to wait, but the wait wasn’t too long. I would say that accessing the Hotel services on the tv could be improved.
Everything
Perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Victoria! Location was central, pay parking convenient, room and bed very comfortable. It was a bonus to have a nice restaurant (with a view) for breakfast, and a cozy lounge downstairs. We will be back!
Location, downtown shuttle, large rooms
The pool area had very strong chemical fumes that irritated our eyes a lot (even when I wasn’t in the pool)
Comfortable & good value accommodation. Went for a weekend at the end of March We always stay in a lovely one bedroom view suite on the higher floors . (only the bathroom .. dated features) loved the atmosphere nd eating at Clive’s vintage bar & Vista 18 .. rooftop restaurant! Great walkable location to shops & restaurants ..but being seniors also appreciate (the by request) downtown shuttle service ( especially at night).. great customer service.. privately Owned.. Will return again!
