Location of the hotel for exploring Paris was great either walking or using Metro. Rooms were clean and of a reasonable size for central Paris.
Hotel Team were outstanding in making sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay.
Would have like tea and coffee in the room but available in the reception area.

The breakfast, the personell and the location was the best thing with the hotel.
It was quite pricy at 400 EUR per night + tourist tax.
I have been staying at this hotel regularly over the past 15 years. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is charming, well-priced and well situated. (Close to great restaurants and cafes, two metro stations, Gare Monparnasse, Jardin de Luxembourg, 6th arrondissement shopping) Breakfast is quite good, with croissant, bread, and a pastry, yogurt, cheese, ham,if you want it, fruit, orange juice and coffee or tea)
I rarely take the time to give reviews but want to do so for this hotel because I have stayed there many times and always enjoy my stay. Highly recommended.

We've tried other hotels in Paris but keep coming back to the Sainte-Beuve. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat.

De amateuristische aanpak van (sommig)personeel.Verwarming was defect bij aankomst kamer,niet gecontroleerd door personeel.Ontbijten gebeurde in inkomhal aan de receptie aan “bijgezette”opklapbare terrastafeltjes onprofessioneel en tussen bestaande meubels geplaatst voor de inkomdeur als die in de winter opengaat je blauw van de kou ziet.Daarvoor alleen kom ik nooit meer naar dit hotel.
We stayed in 2022 for a weekend and booked again for Christmas 2025. We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was clean and spacious. The only small thing was the mattresses were a little soft (but certainly not a big problem). The staff were friendly and very helpful. The open fire in the evenings was a treat. The breakfast was good. The location is excellent- a quiet area well served by the metro.
This was a wonderful place to stay! The staff was great, and we really enjoyed the french boutique feel of the place. The rooms were clean and spacious, and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our little balcony as well to really make us feel the Parisian lifestyle! If you're looking for a good place to stay to feel like a local this is a great spot. With that said, you'll probably want to take the metro to visit most attractions (Eiffel Tower, l'arc de Triomphe, Galeries Lafayette, etc.). You can still definitely walk to the central attractions, it just might take around 20-30minutes (I love walking though because then you get to really take in the Parisian street scape and life!) The metro stop is literally right around the corner from the hotel which is really nice too!
This is a comfortable and stylish boutique hotel in a quiet but very convenient location close to the Jardins de Luxembourg and less than 15 minutes' walk from Gare de Montparnasse. Main areas are well-furnished and decorated with style. The bedrooms, too, are the same, and the bed was very comfortable.
Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive.
Absolutely nothing
Breakfast was a typical Parisian petit-dejeuner with more than enough to eat. It kept us going for the rest of the day. We appreciated the inclusion of fresh fruit and yogurt to complement all the carbs. All breakfast items were clearly chosen with care and from local providers. A tip top start to the day.
