Our absolute favorite hotel. A gem.
Pros:

Wonderful location, quick and easy access to Parc Luxembourg, shops, terrific cafe, wonderful restaurants, metro and bus lines. Our suite was worth every centime: lovely, comfortable bed and sitting area, very nice, comfortably-sized bathroom. Several closets that made it easy to unpack and stay organized. Excellent staff!!
Also loved that the neighborhood seems filled primarily with locals, not tourists. The view from a cafe is of kids coming and going from school, parents and business people meeting and greeting. Lovely.

Cons:

Wish we could have stayed longer!!
Will definitely stay here again, if possible.

Lovely boutique hotel in great area
Pros:

This is an excellent small hotel. It is lovely inside. Our bedrooms were good. The concierge and staff generally very helpful. The breakfasts were great. Lovely Compte cheese. We enjoyed the honesty bar. All four of us said we would come back. We stayed 3 nights. Close to at least 3 metro stations. One hint - once you have booked the hotel, immediately book a bistro called Chez Marcel for dinner. It is 2 minutes walk away and is a bit of a diamond and constantly booked out.

Hermoso y bien ubicado
Pros:

Un hotel hermoso, muy acogedor. Fuimos en invierno y en las tardes encendían la chimenea del lobby. Nos dieron un upgrade a una habitación con balcón a la calle, muy bonita. La ubicación del hotel es ideal, está rodeado de restaurantes y tiendas, y el barrio es agradable para caminar, se siente muy seguro. También hay dos estaciones de metro a pocos minutos.

Cons:

Atención varía según el recepcionista de turno. Como ejemplo, dos veces pedimos el desayuno a la habitación, y en ambas ocasiones se olvidaron de algo: o los cubiertos, o la segunda taza de café, o el pan, etc. El primer día, el recepcionista al teléfono se molestó con nosotros pues tuvimos que llamarles dos veces y al parecer él se encontraba ocupado con otros huéspedes. No era un problema grave, pero no nos pareció que fuese la actitud adecuada. Al día siguiente, cuando nuevamente se olvidaron de los cubiertos, nos atendió una recepcionista diferente. Cabe decir que ella sí tuvo buenas maneras y solucionó el problema rápidamente tras un simple pedido de disculpas.

Very nice stay at Hotel Sainte Beuve
Pros:

A very nice small hotel with a welcoming staff. Great communication with booking. The continental breakfast was very generous and delicious. My room was next to the elevator which tended to be noisy. The bed in the room was not very comfortable, but tolerable. We liked to location. Very close to the Metro.
