I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The photos online were/are misleading. The outside overhang area needed cleaning and was not cleaned the entire time of stay. Inside lobby appeared the hotel was closed for repairs; however, there wasn't any visible equipment or workers on site. The manager offered first night accommodation due to security system blaring overnight for hours. After departure, Booking sent me an email stating agreement for accommodation with manager was not reached!!
Rooms were dirty, no hot breakfast, no ice both machines were broken, fire alarm was on both nights one at 4am and other 1:30
Pet Friendly, good parking, had two beds as what was needed
Was assigned a room that seemed like under repair (bathroom). There were still some parts left in the bathroom. They accidentally reassigned another customer in the same room. Already half sleep when someone tried going in the room. Did escort the other customer to the front desk. Breakfast was not good, eggs and sausage were half cooked. It was a decent stay.
Comfortable well equipped room, friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent with a range of options.
Nothing really, it isn't glamorous but it's good for a one night stopover.
Staff was friendly
The room was dirty. Mildew in the shower, holes in the shower ceiling they tried to patch with caulking. Bed had something sticking out of side off base. It was metal & a trip hazard. Pool was extremely dirty. Gap in door & threshold. Bugs could easily enter the room.
This is the best hotel in Port Arthur, and we've stayed everywhere! Elizabeth Jackson runs a wonderful establishment whose collective goal is to give her customers the best travel experience possible. The staff goes out of their way to ensure that we have everything we need when we check in. One thing I've noticed through the times we have stayed there is the camaraderie of the employees. Every member of the staff is ALWAYS pleasant to their fellow workers, and they pitch in to help each other when needed. Everyone in the entire hotel seems so happy in their jobs - and in this day and time, that is rare.

We love this hotel! I have cancer and travel to Beaumont to get my meds. I always ask for a downstairs room because we have to take an ice chest for my medication, along with computer, clothes, etc. They ALWAYS give us a downstairs room and ask if we have any preference on the inside, outside, pool side, etc.
Nothing!
I think this was the palce with a really slippery tub and no mat. If not, apologies. If so, get some mats.
