Sheraton Louisville Riverside by Marriott

Staff was great and we stay here every time we come down from Indianapolis. Restaurants are excellent.

Room was dirty. Sink was cracked. Carpet should be replaced. General lack of maintenance. Very expensive buffet breakfast. Upstairs restaurant was closed or out of business. My wife and I dined there several times a few years ago and it was delightful then.

The room was decently clean. Definitely dated and the carpet was stained. The hotel could definitely use an update. Staff was excellent.

Rooms were clean, it was an old hotel but very clean

The bathrooms were not clean, the shower products were empty. They bumped us into a smaller room without notice, ran out of rollaway beds and had to sleep on the floor for a night. Their breakfast was $13 and absolutely disgusting. Should just offer that as a free breakfast like everywhere else. Staff was nice.

The front lobby is very well kept and clean. However the rooms need a serious update, deep cleaning and mold/mildew removal. Our first room had mold spot all over the ceiling over the beds. Thankfully Amiee, the nicest front desk employee did her best to find us a better room. After checking out 4 rooms we finally found that was mold/mildew free. Amiee apologized multiple time and even gave us vouchers for free breakfast. The breakfast and the wait staff were wonderful! We were able to us the shuttle van one time to get into downtown, otherwise Uber drivers were plentiful.

Walking in the door there are beautiful light fixtures with spider webs and bugs all around the base. The beds are like sleeping on wooden pallets with springs poking you in the back. The shower wouldn’t drain and the hottest the water got was lukewarm. There was an issue with our toilet not flushing that we reported 3 times. Someone from maintenance would come ‘fix’ it and it would work okay for a little bit and then stop again.

Great customer service! We stayed for a festival in Louisville. I went in and checked in early check-in, they confirmed the type of room I had booked and said nothing was available (completely understandable it was 9am) came back around 12:30am to check in to find out even after confirming room type they gave that room to someone else. The staff in the lobby was so helpful and booked us another room at no charge on top of just a double bed room. Would stay again!

I usually stay here when visiting Louisville, KY, just because Louisville is right across the Ohio River - very convenient.

Parking for this hotel is plentiful and free. They do have a shuttle as well, to & from Louisville Internation Airport, if I am not mistaken?

If you are an active person like me, I do a lot of hiking/walking & cycling, and the pedestrian bridge is 3 blocks away to walk or cycle across the river to Louisville.

The service by staff is awesome, and if you want to just chill along the river on the Indiana side, they have a really nice restaurant district with river views.

So I highly recommend this hotel. I'll be back there again in the future.

Disappointed with the “cleaning” done in our room during our four day stay. The only “cleaning” done regularly was replacement of towels and trash removal and even the towel replacement was subpar bc we only got 2 new towels at a time when there were 3 of us. We never got a replacement of the bath mat. Bedding wasn’t replaced and toilet paper was never restocked. This isn’t the first Sheraton we’ve stayed at but it’ll likely be the last.

Everything was fine.

The only thing we didn't like was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. They had them available but it was for everyone. And I just don't like that.

The front desk person was really extra and didn't know how to work the system.
