Bitte renovieren, Potential zum hochklassigen Hotel vorhanden
Pros:

Wir haben eine Junior Suite gebucht. Zunächst waren wir in einer sehr alten Suite, abgewohnt und nicht besonders schön. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir ein anderes gleichwertiges Zimmer. Dieses war moderner und wir fühlten uns dort wohl. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir immer zusätzliches Wasser zum Trinken fürs Zimmer. Das Personal beim Frühstück war wirklich super! So stelle ich es mir in einem Hotel vor: zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und einfach herzlich mit einem Lächeln und guter Laune über den gesamten Zeitraum hinweg.
Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich unschlagbar- du gehst raus und bist direkt in Little Tokyo.

Cons:

Die Wege von den Suiten waren unerwartet lang. Das Hotel verfügt lediglich über drei Fahrstühle. Diese erreicht man über unendlich (gefühlt) lange Gänge. Andere Wege oder Zugänge gibt es nicht.
Der Spa-Bereich lohnt sich nicht. Es ist sehr unsauber über den Tag, im Dampfbad bröckeln Fugen und Belag, das hat man dann an den Füßen kleben. Ich finde das eklig. Die Zugangstür zum Spa klemmt. Man hat den Eindruck, es sei geschlossen und muss Hilfe beim Personal holen. Im Bereich selbst riecht es widerlich nach Urin. Entspannen konnten wir da nicht. Zudem ist das Personal im Spa überaus unmotiviert. Es wird nur auf Ansprache des Gastes gegrüßt. Ansonsten sitzt das Personal am Tresen und spielt Handy. Man hat den Eindruck, hier zu unterbrechen wäre eine Frechheit. Ein nettes Lächeln wäre zum Entspannen irgendwie schöner. Wir haben uns in diesem Bereich unwillkommen gefühlt.
Das sonstige Personal im Hotel war überaus freundlich!

Aber ich muss leider sagen, dass wir zu zweit waren ynd bei uns im Zimmer immer das zweite handtuch gefehlt hatte. bisschen ärgerlich, weil ich immer zur reception gehen musste um meiner Freundin eines zu holen. Der Flur stinkt, das liegt an dem Teppich. Ich denke nocht das es gut ist einen Teppivh imnFlur beteich zu havben, wenn die Mittagssonne so extrem darauf scheint. Natürlich weiß ich nicht wie oft dort sauber gemacht wird aber die Fenster waren nicht offen so mit fand ich den Geruch etwas unangenehm

Super freundliches Personal.
Sauberes Zimmer.
Zugang der Zimmer nur mit Karte zu erreichen, was uns ein sicheres Gefühl gegeben hat.

Cons:

Die Lüftung in unserem Zimmer hat dem Raum nicht wirklich gekühlt und es war viel zu warm für uns.

Die Mitarbeiter sind absolut zufriedenstellend, aber die Zimmer selbst sind nur in Ordnung.
Pros:

Wir kamen spät Abends an nach einem Tagesausflug in der Stadt und die Bar hat extra für uns bzw der Barkeeper hat extra für uns nochmal etwas länger aufgemacht.

Cons:

Die Bettgestelle sahen aus komplett abgenutzt aus. Die Doppelbetten sind einfach nur 2 Betten zusammengeschoben, den Grund verstehe ich, aber wäre cool wenn sowas angemerkt wird. Trotz Klimaanlage konnte das Zimmer nicht runter gekühlt werden. Die Klimaanlage wurde auf 18 Grad gestellt (niedriger ging nicht), beim Eintritt waren es 23Grad im Raum und bei der Ausreise am nächsten Tag waren es 25 Grad.

Our stay was awesome!
Pros:

Two thumbs up for this hotel! I loved the location, comfort, the exceptional staff, facilities, the food and the parking available below. The hotel is located right in front of the "Little Tokyo" in Dusseldorf, which we often visit to eat Japanese cuisine, and buy Japanese goods. The breakfast buffet is the best, especially if you love delicious Japanese rice and Miso soup. Two staff who went above beyond in their professionalism, warmth, and efficiency in making our family feel very welcome were Fernando at the reception and Candy at the breakfast room.
