Ok stay but not twice
Pros:

Eady on/off of Wade Ave, ample parking (even during an antique car show where many car owners stayed). We had a large room clear at the end of the hotel. Larger than normal refrigerator in the room. Breakfast staff were wonderful! And delicious coffee!

Cons:

While this setting would be dubbed rural, the outside doors did not lock. In fact the one door we primarily used looked like the card entry had been dismantled. Even the car show people said there's no security here. Our room was dark. Had to keep the AC on constant fan to keep humidity down. Beds had deep indentations like the mattresses haven't been flipped in awhile. Bath Towels were threadbare. Bathroom light went out after 1 day - maintenance came quickly and fixed it. There was only 1 ice machine per floor and it was a hike. Same breakfast daily but 4 hot items. Only other vending was by machine for drinks/snacks.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

It is a nice, clean hotel and we would stay here again! The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to many things!

Absolutely terrible. Who stays at a hotel and can not shower or bathe

Shower was broken. Could not any water to come out of either the shower or the tub. Also the water plug at the bottom of the tub was broken.

Great value for a clean and convenient hotel near NC State
Pros:

Good location close to NC State. Large, clean rooms and friendly staff. Best value in the area for my stay as it was $50/night cheaper than similar properties within a couple of miles.

Cons:

Property was a bit dated but it was clean and appeared to be in good repair, so it wasn’t an issue. Pillows were a bit awkward as they were square and not traditional rectangular pillows.

Location was perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly, good breakfast, comfy beds.

Cons:

The room had a bit of a funk to it. We sprayed fabreeze and it helped.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. I love the seating in the lobby with the fireplace, very tranquil . Also love the bar

The staff is wonderful! I have been staying here the 4yrs my son has been at NCSTATE.
It is my go to place

Cons:

The hotel could use a facelift. Cable/ tv not up to par. Rooms are dated. However, I still love staying here. There is a family of people who have been staying here for years, and that is very cool.
