I never even stayed pool wasn’t working after I was told it was before I booked arrived to be told it wasn’t working and

Nothing never even went pass the check in but yet I’m charged like I enjoyed the night unprofessional on all levels wouldn’t recommend at all instead of taking people hard earned money for service that wasn’t provided work on getting from a 3 star hotel wouldn’t rate no stars if it was possible

This place is a diamond in the rough. It just needs further renovations to really make it shine
Pros:

We have stayed at this site several times over the years. The property is very large with two pools and a restaurant/bar onsite. It has changed hands several times and it needs further renovations, especially in the bathrooms, and the corridor carpeting in some wings should be replaced. This time, we first stayed in room 323, which is very spacious, and the water temperature and pressure are great. We then moved to room 317 (we had back to back reservations). This room is an ADA room with a roll in shower, an amenity we did not need even though both my husband and I have mobility issues. There is FAR less storage space in this room; the water pressure and temperature were continually unsatisfactory during our stay, despite the owner's attempts to fix it. Jay's Bar 2 is great! The front desk staff and housekeeping were both great!

Cons:

Please see above. Plus, I did not like the baked eggs at breakfast.

On the night my house flooded, the hotel felt like home.
Pros:

It was so big and spacious! On top of that, the breakfast was absolutely amazing.

The Lady at the front desk was Great. And we got instructions to head to Jay’s sports bar and restaurant…. Delicious hamburgers and service

First they gave us a room with a queen bed when we booked a king suite. Called the front desk and the lady said well on my end that room has a king bed, not a queen. I asked if she wanted to come up to the room and look for herself. So then they moved us to another room. They had someone come up and help with the luggage and they took us to a room not secure from the outside and they didn't give us keys to the room so we had to walk back down to the front desk if we wanted keys. The room smelled like smoke and the tv didn't work at all. We decided to just go to the front desk and tell them we wouldn't be staying there. No apologies from the front desk, no asking to set us up with a room we orginally booked for. Nothing. Won't be coming back.
