Desperate due to hurricane
Pros:

It was the only thing available. Room was cleaner than common areas. A/C worked.

Cons:

Lobby, halls, and stairways were filthy and in disrepair. Woodwork and carpet were disgusting. Spilled dogfood on C stairway was there for all three days. Lock broken on security door and door propped open. No coffee. No breakfast. Male morning front desk person was rude and said "no coffee because of water situation." When questioned if the water was safe to drink, he said it was "fine". Roof had tarps scattered over it (I excused that due to the hurricane). Price was three times what Holiday Inn had listed.

This hotel tried to rent me a room with no electricity, and the staff were rude when I questioned it\. I understand power outages happen, but guests deserve clear information and respectful treatment\. Very disappointing and unprofessional\.
