Clean, newer, easy access to our room
Nothing
Good value for money. Nice and friendly employees at the reception. Facilities are modest, but sufficient for a short (overnight) stay. Enough (fast food) restaurants and Walmart supermarket available at walking distance. Room and bathroom provide sufficient space and are clean. Easy access to parking area, which is free of charge. Location (at a busy interstate) is not very pretty, but comfortable when you travel from place to place.
The busy interstate motorway causes some noise in the room, which might keep you awake when you are a light sleeper. But for us not much of a problem. The variety of the breakfast is modest, but we learned during our stay in the US that this is basically applicable to all 3 star hotels. Compared to the others, breakfast was not bad.
Location was great. The room was clean and beds are comfortable.
They need more room for breast-fast table.
Have always liked Holiday Inn. The whole place is clean.
Booked 2 King rooms opposite traffic. Arrived 3:15 rooms were not ready. Went to dinner came back after 4 and still no rooms. Ended up putting us on the 1st floor. One room opposite traffic.
Conveniently located off I-81 with gas and restaurants nearby. Has plenty of parking - had no problem parking my car and trailer. Our room was very nice, clean and bed was very comfortable. I was a bit disappointed it did not have a Keurig coffee maker (which I really missed, liked in other Holiday Inn hotels but at this hotel, you can get coffee all day in the lobby or request a machine from the desk. This is their way of cutting down on single use cups). Can’t fault them for that. The only food and drink for purchase on the property were in a vending machine that required exact change. This location has 3 ice machines - 2 of them were out of order. (The ice machine on the 1 st floor was out of order and had a sign saying to use the ice machine on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was out of order with a sign saying to use the machine on the 1st or 3rd floor). Whoever put up those signs, did not know what was going on. The one on the 3rd floor did work. Did not use any of the other amenities provided by this hotel. Breakfast was incredible – cheese omelets, sausage links, potatoes, cinnamon buns and lots more. All in all, even with the few hiccups, we would definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here several times. It is clean with a good breakfast. The main problem I have here is that they are "trying to decrease plastic usage" so they don't have Keurig machines in the rooms any more. You have to ask for them. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby. OK. But, they don't supply drinking glasses in the bedrooms any more. This has happened twice. So, you could be in your pajamas, thirsty, need to brush your teeth or take medication, and NO GLASS. Or, you could be there stuck with little ones who just want a drink of water at 1am and NO GLASS. Yet, you go down to breakfast, and it is fully stocked with PLASTIC utensils and styrofoam dishes. I have stayed in hotels all over the country and the world and never stayed in a hotel that doesn't supply drinking glasses in the bedrooms. I went down to the lobby and brought up several paper coffee cups for our use. Customers shouldn't have to do that. This isn't about the environment. It is about being CHEAP, rude, and inconsiderate. What's next? No towels? Platinum IHG member here. **I brought this up with the hotel front desk the first time it happened. And then it happened again. Hence, they got dinged in a review.
breakfast was good. Suites much nicer than rooms. beds very comfortable.
jacuzzi tub was not clean. Jacuzzi tub had a rim around the top, water line. While using jacuzzi a bunch of hair shot out of the jets at one point. pretty gross.
The breakfast was excellent! Rooms were very clean. Hotel was very quiet, despite being full.
The weather so we could have used the pool😃
I still have not received my $50 room deposit back.
