Staff a all was excellent.
The bed was not comfortable at all
Friendly staff, clean all around.
None
Hotel finishings were nice, enhanced security with badging for elevator and to enter the floor.
AC made a noise like a car alarm, bed was worn down and dense.
The staff were the best part of the stay.
There was no hot tub. Also the pillows need to be changed.
The location was very accessible.
There was a power outage early morning that made us get up in bed very early. No information was disseminated regarding the issue. Instead of a comfortable resting day after a long travel, our sleep was disturbed by the power outage.
I liked the athletics of the property.
I didn’t like that from the time of check in no one knew any of the answers to any question I had. The staff in the dining area were rude (Denise) however Eve was very pleasant. The power went out for over three hours, no generator so it was hot, dark and muggy and one of the elevators went out of service and stayed out of service the two days I was there . Nothing was offered further inconvenience of being outside of our room for such a long time. I had my ten year old daughter with me , she was very tired, hot and thirsty. I had a ten hour drive back to Wisconsin but couldn’t properly rest due to the inconvenience.
The pool area was nice. The atmosphere was great. Loved the way it's set up. I'd liked having a restaurant right there at the hotel
Even though you had the restaurant the food was very poor. I had chicken cacciatore I should have sent back but didn't. They had doused it with lemon juice to cover up the uncookedness of the broth. It was terrible. I regret not sending it back.
Nice and clean with great employees
The bathroom walls had a few stains on the walls
Staff was friendly. Restaurant in the hotel.
Staff was very friendly and facility was clean
Everyone was very nice. The place was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The only thing that was really annoying was when the air conditioning running it was so loud.
The price was reasonable and the hotel was conveniently located for our purposes.
I booked 2 rooms well in advance through Booking.com. I have used this and other booking platforms many times both in the US and abroad. I have never had an issue of any kind.
I was traveling with a couple, one of whom had multiple medical issues, to a family wedding. I left them in the vehicle to check in, get room keys and a the luggage valet.
Upon arriving at the front desk, there were two stations. I greeted the closest employee who told me I would need to wait because they "were just switching over" without even greeting or looking up at me. The person at the second station said that she could help and I moved to that station.
I gave my name, stated I had reserved two rooms and waited. She said she could not find a reservation for me. The first employee who was "switching over" popped up and said I probably booked at the Springfield, Illinois Hilton as opposed to Springfield, Missouri. I said I did not and he stated it happened more often than you might think. I pulled up my confirmation email from Booking.com. I shared it with them.
I was told that wasn't "there" booking number and did not prove I booked at that hotel.
I stated it had the address and phone number to that location. A third employee was now at the desk and inserted herself by stating "it could be a scam and they needed their own number".
I told them I had an email directly from Hilton and there location with both address and phone number was on it. I proceeded to pull that email up. It was not accepted by them. I was asked if the reservation could be under any other name, I told them no. I was asked if I was a Hilton Club Reward Member. I told them no but a party member was. They asked for that name, which I gave but stated again I booked the rooms under my name.
The third person stated I could avoid "problems like this if the person who was a rewards member booked directly instead of going through a third party booking".
The location of the breakfast is good as was the service. Coffee was weak and the omelette was not worth the price. Nor was the French toast.
The gravy for the biscuits didnt taste homemade.
