so disappointed. I tried to complain and the people working didn’t care. It was not clean, the pool was broken, our TV was broken, i felt like I needed a shower after staying here.
Would not recommend this.
As other reviews have said, this place is just downright bad. I have two stars, one for price, the other for clean and standard bedding. I think that’s more than generous.
There were two towels in the room for four people, and when we went to get more housekeeping was “closed” at 7:30pm so we were SOL! I guess it didn’t matter though because the tub didn’t hold water and when we asked for an external drain stopper the woman at the desk looked at us like we had two heads. We just didn’t bathe our kids!
My husband was trying to unload the car and was stuck at the elevator on the 3rd floor but it wouldn’t come. Luckily another guest came by and told him the call button didn’t work on that floor and hadn’t for a while. My husband figured it was fine he’s just walk down the stairs, but the door to the lobby from the stairwell was broken too so he had to walk back up and take the elevator from the second floor! SO UNSAFE! Why this wasn’t told to us when we checked in or a sign wasn’t posted—who knows!
There was mold in the ice bucket and although you use a liner, that’s no excuse. It looked like there was pasta sauce on our lampshade.
Breakfast was very lackluster, barely continental. No yogurt and limited bread options. One waffle maker for the huge number of people trying to eat.
If all you want is a cheap clean bed, this place is fine.
Hit and Miss
This place is nasty
This is a very well maintained and restored B&B that is located walking distance to the beach.
Our room on the 1st floor had a lot of space and was very clean.
There is no staff or housekeeping present at the B&B. Check in is done via directions listed on the front door. There are two other smaller B&B properties adjacent to the main B&B that are owned by the same proprietor. The office is located in one of the smaller properties but most of the time no one is there however if you call the # listed on the door, someone will answer.
I would recommend this B&B, it’s very well kept and the rooms are nice and the location is great, They just have to be more informative with their check in policy, like texting or emailing check in instructions to customers.
The hotel itself doesn’t show a true depiction of the rooms. My room had no mirror in the room or bathroom, the closet door was/is broken and falling off the hinges, the shower curtain had stains and mold on it, there was no clock, the lightbulbs need changed, there was non phone to call and ask for things, the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall and just left on the sink, and there’s no way to get ice. I used a foot stool to block the door cause the lock was loose but the parking lot seemed pretty safe.
The gym was the reason I stayed at this location, the equipment was in disrepair. Would have stayed elsewhere had I known in advance.
We were locked in our room and could not get out. The phone in the room was not working and had insects crawling on it. I tried calling the front desk a dozen times from my cellphone but do not believe the phone at the desk was working either. I banged on the door for 20 minutes until an elderly man in a neighboring room came out to see what was going on. In order to get out of the room, I had to slip my key card under the door and have him open from the outside. When I went down to the front desk, the person at the front desk was arguing with another patron. When he got to me he was incredibly rude to the point where my 10 year old girl began to cry. We ended up leaving the hotel and driving home.
I liked the Staff.
Bathroom is was liking from ceiling. One person was nock my door at 1:30am looking for someone that is was really bad.
I like the Hotel
Room was clean everything was clean in the room but the keycard kept not working. Had to go to the desk 4 times to get to work it seemed like it was a one time use. Would stay again besides that the staff at front desk were somewhat helpful
The sleeping area was comfortable, but the pool was closed by the health district and you are able to hear anyone walking in the halls.
Tv didn’t work, only one working elevator which appeared unsafe .Blue painters tape holding controls together. There was very limited breakfast. On the upside beds were bug free and relatively comfortable. However, feel it was misrepresented by Expedia.
NA
my room wasn’t clean. The TV wasn’t working told them when I arrived that the TV wasn’t working. They didn’t come fix it till that Saturday the sheets had stain on them. The pool is closed due to the border health.
The bed was comfortable. Everything else was terrible. There was no cold water at night and no hot water in the morning. Microwave didn't get food hot. The breakfast was completely out of everything, plates, cutlery, juice food. The staff was missing for a good 20 mins when I got locked out of my room. The elevator wasn't working and the hall ways were disgusting. They need to close down.
Didn’t like it
Lots of chipped paint, weathers and broken fixtures. Elevator button on the 3rd floor was held together with painters tape. I walked down the stairs when the elevator took too long, no access to the lobby from the stairs but I was able to see the dungeon on the 1st floor staff seem to be forced to work in.
