This hotel is very antiquated and needs updating from the faucets to the fixtures. Everything was very worn and hold and in of replacement.
Convenient
Clean, large room. Everything as described when I booked the room. Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Hot tub was a delight
We enjoyed this place very much. Highly recommend it to everyone.
Roomy, big bathrooms, clean, safe, quiet. A bit older but OK. Good location.
It’s the most affordable accommodation in the area.. what do you expect? It looks frozen in time, like you leapt through a portal into the early 2000’s. Outdated, mold growing in the bathroom sink and grout in the shower. Bugs in the room. Stains on the carpet.. The housekeepers were SO loud.
Definitely wouldn’t stay here again, although it was super convenient and close to everything.
Ok for a large chain.
Airport shuttle stopped servicing airport before our flight. Our room looked like someone had been murdered in it. Staff was nice, bed was comfortable.
Adequate for one night, just keep your expectations low. Lobby is nice, bathrooms and mattresses are tired, staff needs a lesson in being welcoming. Breakfast area unappealing due to loud TV, brusque server, and icky lighting.
This hotel is in need of serious renovation. The carpet is dirty and torn. The curtains in our room were in tatters. Would not stay there again.
The front desk person was rude, instead of returning my credit card in my hand like I gave him my ID and card, he threw it on the counter for me to take it.
Also, not enough soap. There should be one for the hands and another for the shower.
Great location for an early flight!
When I requested towels for the hot tub, I was advised by the receptionist there were none available.
Room was rather stinky like old gym clothes. Hot tub was lame. Appeared to be an above ground spa stuck in the ground.
They didn’t have a room for me. Expedia must not charge me. I received nothing and was left stranded with my wife and no room. 1000 miles from home. You didn’t keep your word.
We stayed here 2 nights to do a trolley tour and boat tour in Portland. It was very convenient to where we were going. The room was comfortable and it was clean. The continental breakfast was okay. It is in a little closet room behind where you check in. It is called a grab-n-go breakfast. I believe at one time it was a much nicer facility with a hot breakfast but maybe the area around has went downhill a little. We did order Dominos Pizza and they delivered right to our room pretty quickly. I would.stay there again.
Hotel
Clean, nice bathroom showers hot. Price very reasonable for Portland. Wish they had coffee free in lobby for guests. Have some breakfast items you can order for a fee breakfast area seems under staffed and not open at times. Great place to stay while attending an event in Portland if you don’t mind not a lot of frills. Can’t beat the price.
Great hotel with some of the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever met. My only problem was the room smelled musty, which I learned was because I was on the pet floor. I'm ok with pets and was able to air it out somewhat with the AC cranked (the windows didn't open and there was no bathroom fan). Cleaning the room carpets on the pet floor more frequently would make a big difference. Otherwise great hotel, great staff, good location near downtown, and the most comfortable bed I had on a week long trip.
Fine for a night on our way to the outer parts of Maine
Paid for a double room with King bed but they put us in a small room with two double beds. They never bothered to tell us at check-in. When we opened the door to the room we realized it wasnt what we paid for so we lugged our suitcases, etc. back to the full lobby only to have the very rude woman at the front desk tell me they are full and its not their fault. "You need to call Hotels.com". How about I'm sorry or something polite. Nope, more of a get lost not my problem attitude.
