A great charming gem of a no chain hotel in booming Abilene!
Pros:

I liked the cheerful and professional staff at the front desk. Cynthia "Monique" was very welcoming and accommodating to my every need and question. It says a lot about staff that's attentive and sincere in their professionalism! Also, I was sad not to meet Vernon, as his Kitchen was great down-home cooking, providing an assortment of hot and cold breakfast items, yum! You can tell that the owners and staff all care about the customer and the appearance and quality of their hotel-they're always improving the facility and it shows!

Cons:

The ac was good but a little loud, as it was difficult to hear the TV or maybe the TV had speakers that were too soft, I cranked it and had a hard to hearing it. Perhaps I should have turned off the AC, but I was too tired to care lol

Pros:

The breakfast was delicious they had a lot of good options to choose from and the location was great too. Right off the main road and so close to shopping and restaurants! Staff was very friendly and checking in/checking out was nice and easy. Room was clean, and spacious. We would stay here again!

Cons:

There was nothing I was unsatisfied with.

Best value by far!
Pros:

I had some issues at check in due to my own error but the hotel receptionist went above and beyond to help me out. The room was very clean and the location was great - very close to restaurants of all types and shopping options if I had needed anything. The shower was hot and know they were booked to the max. The best part though was the hearty breakfast that we got in the morning - biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs with peppers, beans, salsa and shredded cheese. They of course had the usual cereal/muffins/waffles which my kids liked but I was pretty impressed...even sent my daughter back with a few daughters for the tip jar. All of this for a value that beat any of the others that offered breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay in Abilene.
Pros:

We are a military family but could not obtain accommodations at the local military facility. The front desk personnel at Dyess AFB recommended this hotel. For the price and features, It exceeded our expectations. 😊

Cons:

There was nothing we did not like. Our experience was truly wonderful.

Don't stay here!
Pros:

The breakfast staff was very good. He was attentive and offered a great spread for breakfast

Cons:

Unfortunately the property is quite run down. The room was dingy. The most disconcerting thing was the clientele was predominantly construction workers. A fight broke out next door where a man was obviously beating and sounding as if raping her. The staff handled this extremely poorly. I called the police. Unfortunately the victim lied to both the staff and the police so nothing was done. I left the property as the staff had told the victim I was the one who called the incident in.

Dated hotel that is overpriced for what you get.
Pros:

Location to where we needed to be in town.

Cons:

Room was date (despite being renovated). Rust in the sink, price was high compared to similar stays we've had in other hotels (way overpriced).
