Good location, well appointed hotel. Decent sized room.

Cons:

Not initially clear how to access the free wifi. Went down to reception to ask for clarity but had to wait for 10 minutes because only one person checking in guests.

Comfortable Stay
Pros:

Our experience at the Omni was good. Front desk, valet, and housekeeping staff were all friendly and polite. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable, linens were soft and pillows plush and comfortable. However, the process to stream on the tv was convoluted and frustrating and never worked. A minor quibble but frustrating nonetheless.

We visited both the bar and Morsels Cafe. Drinks from the bar were tasty, the bartender was polite and friendly. Drink costs were high but not unexpectedly so. Morsels was a bit disappointing. The breakfast selections were mostly unexceptional: the bagels and muffins were bland.

Throughout our stay staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was a good experience.

Pros:

Waiter at the restaurant was very nice.

Cons:

We reserved a room with a king bed and were told on our arrival that it was not available and they only had rooms with queen beds.

Great bed, bad bathroom design toilet partof vanity and dirty gym
Pros:

Rooms where nice and comfortable, i did not like the toilet being part of the vanity with no cover quite disgusting that you flush and your stuff is next to it.
The gym has nice cardio equipment and old strength training tools, however lacks of any decent cleaning… the equipment was dirty , the floors totally disgusting filled of hairs and even fake nails, I took pictures and videos and shared with the front desk asking them to have someone clean, next day same story only clean towels… 1st time for me at this omni and last … for sure cleaning is not a priority even if guest request.sorry the video does not upload but posting some of the pics shared with front desk

Pros:

Gostei da localização e do tamanho do quarto.

Cons:

Precisa renovar os quartos, trocando os carpetes - principalmente. A vazão do chuveiro é muito fraca.

The bar on the 19th floor was Beautiful and the people were so nice!
Pros:

I liked how close everything was to me ! Didn’t really need my car! 👍🥰💖

Cons:

It was difficult getting out of the parking lot especially if u forgot the ticket! That was my fault😂

Omni is World-Class
Pros:

If you are looking for an old-world hotel experience, look no further. Omni still believes in full service: daily room make-up service, luxurious amenities including robes and full-sized premium towels, really drinking glasses and coffee cups in the room. We also enjoyed the superb view of Yale from our windows. The restaurant and bar at the top of the hotel were first class as well. Perhaps the best thing about staying at Omni is the reception staff who were always cheerful and helpful with any request. On-site parking is a plus in the heart of New Haven. Kudos to Omni for doing everything right.

Good Value and Comfortable Stay
Pros:

Overall, this was a nice hotel and a comfortable place to stay. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean and functional.
The surrounding area felt a little rough around the edges in places, and the rooms are beginning to show their age. While the furnishings and décor could benefit from some updating, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The resturant was pretty good.
Despite those minor drawbacks, the hotel offered good value and provided a pleasant experience overall. I would consider staying here again if I were in the area.
