A good, comfortable stay
Pros:

Any hotel in Ithaca during College Move-in , Parent's Week-end or Graduation is going to be a total rip-off with surge pricing - which was unfortunately our case: Paying way more than the value of the hotel. However, even if it needs a bit of a freshening up - I found this one was 1) clean enough 2) conveniently located, 2) very pleasant and helpful hotel desk receptionist (Greg) 3) comfortable beds, linens, and shower pressure and 4) Free parking. I particularly liked the big windows in our room (considering the ceilings are a bit low). In addition, the breakfast in the restaurant was reasonably priced and good, big portions. If you happen to be a parent of a college student (Cornell or Ithaca) then you can qualify for discounts if you book directly with the hotel (though of course there are black-out dates that usually coincide with, you guessed it, college move in, parents weekend, and graduation)

The stay was fine for a day or two, but I’ve stayed at cleaner places for much less.
Pros:

The location is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable.

Cons:

The bathroom was not well cleaned, particularly the shower. At this price point I expect better cleanliness. Especially if I’m told my roommate ready at check in time.

If the hotel spent a little more on cleaning, I'd give the hotel an 8 or 9.
Pros:

Everything was well built and presentable from the outside. But . . .

Cons:

Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean. Hair in the tub and dust in the corners. The bedroom floor was dirty as well. If the hotel spent a little more on cleaning, I'd give the hotel an 8 or 9.

Elevator not working. Ice machine on floor nitbeorking. No housekeeping on second day. AC was extremely loud

Pros:

Staff was friendly and nice

Cons:

Hotel rooms were run down; lacked parking and located not in a good area. Had shuttle service to Cornell but did not have a driver.

Will not stay here again. Too many excuses from the staff
Pros:

Location was great, free parking and our room was big

Cons:

Elevator was out of service, the A/C in the restaurant was inoperative and the pool was closed. Too many excuses from the staff about everything and nothing jived.

Pros:

Beautiful Hotel, close to everything!

Cons:

The heated pool was NOT heated!
The room was clean but not up to my expectations as far as the bathroom!
Very noisy hard to sleep from traffic going by!

We kwamen, zagen en gingen.
Pros:

Het personeel was erg aardig.

Cons:

De hygiëne was erg slecht. Schimmel en hele vieze gordijnen, smurrie op de wand. Dit was de reden dat we naar een ander hotel zijn gegaan.
