The location is very good and the staff were nice, but I have to rate it a 1 star due to the inadequate shower. I turned my shower on full hot and it started out luke warm. Thought it would warm up, but instead it went ice cold. Unfortunately I really don't like a freezing shower. Everything in the hotel is a bit dated. Blow dryer did blow, but barely. In the end the shower did go back to luke warm - enough to quickly finish.
Locatoion, friendly staff
Lack of reconstruction, like not-functioning door-locks.
Such great value for the property and location.
Parking is not free.
Our flight to DC was cancelled due to a groundstop at all DC airports on March 13, 2026. When we tried to call the hotel, their phone number from their website and on their email correspondence ( 1-703-243-9800 ) was not working, not functional. Even IHG Guest Relations could not reach them. There was no way to cancel. The email address listed is non-responsive. There is no way to reach this hotel. I cannot understand how they can function like this.
The staff were kind and professional.
There were so many aspects of the hotel that were just rundown. The elevator was in disrepair. The wallpaper and carpet were worn. The tv didn’t work until my uncle came and beat it up to stay on. The toilet and sink leaked.
Add more lighting in the parking lot. Rather dark in the evening. It will feel more safe in that area of the property if it were well lit.
Otherwise, my stay was great.

I had a really pleasant stay this past weekend. This was actually my first time staying at a Holiday Inn. I do not usually book this brand.
From the moment I checked in, the experience felt welcoming. The woman at the front desk was kind, had a great sense of humor, and brought a positive energy that immediately set the tone for my stay.
The two gentlemen at the restaurant were just as friendly and attentive. Service felt natural and easy, which made dining there enjoyable.
My room was clean and well maintained, exactly what you want when traveling.
At checkout, the team was again helpful and patient, taking time to answer my questions and provide additional information without making it feel rushed.
Overall, it was a smooth, comfortable stay with consistently friendly service from start to finish. For my first Holiday Inn experience, it exceeded expectations. I will be back!
I just slept well.
Comfort of the beds was good. Heat of the shower was good.
A little worn and dated.
I went here on a trip to Washington DC because it was cheap. Worst hotel ever. Outlets did not have covers and shower was dirty. Took 45 minutes to deliver new towels because the ones that came with the room. The pool was closed in the middle of July. Spend a little more and you will get a lot better.
