Pros:

Close to the event I was attending.

Cons:

The fact that my room did not have a refrigerator. When I asked at the front desk I was told that it was because of the rate I paid. I was never told that the rate did not include a refrigerator. A heads up would have been nice.

I am a female senior citizen who traveled by myself. Not once did I feel unsafe.

I was disappointed housekeeping did not clean my room the day. I did not hang the door tag not to clean my room.
Pros:

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, check was fast. Although I had small problem with my reservation, Marisa corrected it. The bar food and drinks were good.

Pros:

The room was nice and the staff was friendly. The only issue I had was the TV. The guide wasn't working and for the price of the room you should at least have Netflix. That brings me to the main issue, the price. For an average, but nice hotel in a general area of Sacramento over $300 a night is a bit much. Especially when there was nothing significant going on, game, concert etc... The hotel didn't seem all that busy and it's winter on top of that. They really should consider dropping their rates especially during winter months when it's slow

The location is within walking distance to my planned destination, which was great. It was clean. The staff were generally friendly.

Cons:

When I called the front desk to inquire about checking in early, it took a really long time. The staff member was difficult to hear. I expected it to be a quick yes or no answer, but it dragged on. Then, she transferred me to someone about a promotion, saying it would be quick and all I had to do was listen. It was not quick, so I will not be doing that again. Also, some of the wall outlets don't work, which was frustrating.
