Very nice, clean and comfortable rooms decorated tastefully yet functional. Comfortable bed, very efficient air conditioning and temperature control. Service staff was helpful and so nice. It was a high-end hotel experience all the way.
The lobby/bar area/front desk hallways were very clean and had a nice clean smell.
The beds were not very comfortable. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was ridiculously placed way across the counter on the wall, very inconvenient. The desk placement in the room made it almost impossible to walk around one bed (maybe 6 inches of space between desk and corner of bed). The highway noise was quite loud!
Great customer service
Perfect location
They did not have the restaurant open when we were there
Location is excellent! Close to everything.
$35 - $45 parking fee paid separately from accommodations
This was our sixth time staying at the Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown–Arena, and it continues to be a reliable choice whenever we’re in the area. The location is unbeatable—right across from Golden 1 Center and within walking distance to everything downtown has to offer.
The experience has been consistent every time, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. It’s convenient, comfortable, and ideal whether you’re visiting for business or events.
While the property could benefit from some updates and parking can be a bit pricey, the overall value and location make it a solid option in Sacramento.
The main downsides are the expensive parking, slightly dated rooms, and noise during events due to the location next to the arena. It’s a very convenient hotel, but it doesn’t offer a particularly modern or premium experience.
The area was great. Room was clean. The employees very welcoming and friendly.
So close to Amtrak,nice staff
Room interior a little dated. Dripping tub faucet. But I would stay here again. A good value for the area.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent, right in the center of downtown, making it easy to walk to plenty of restaurants and places to grab dinner. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the stay even better. It’s also conveniently located near the highway, which made it easy to get around the city when needed. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again
Easy access
Evacuated because of possible fire
Downtown location and breakfast staff where great
Some doors that lead to the parking where not operating
Great Location right next to Golden1 Arena and Old Sacramento. Front Desk agents are great. Room was decent, looks just as advertised. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. We paid for breakfast for two days but only used one because the quality of food didn't really hold up to the quality at other Holiday Inns that we have previously stayed at. Overall a great hotel to stay at for exploring downtown Sacramento!!
Dated but clean. Pleasant and helpful staff.
