Check-in Staff:
My family was impressed with the Holiday Inn Sacramento from the moment we checked in. They were very helpful about directing us to a path that takes you straight from the hotel to the Golden 1 Center Arena. It’s only a 5-minute walk and we were going to a concert that night. Knowing there was a safe, well-lit path made it easy family members who are disabled. The bell staff noticed my struggle with our bags and quickly offered to help get everything to the room.
Room (2 double beds):
We enjoyed our bright spacious room which included a small fridge and microwave. The beds were comfy with cotton duvets and extra pillows. The bathroom had a huge wall-to-wall counter, 2 deep drawers, 2 deep shelves.
Free Breakfast:
It’s included with your room. You get coupons at check-in. Breakfast is served 6-10am in the Cypress Grill (1st floor). If you get hungry at night there’s no room service but you can order at the bar (1st floor) until 10pm.
Quiet Room & Late Check-out:
Our room on the 15th floor was quiet even with a large group already there for a convention, lots of people like us there for the concert, and another group gathering in the meeting rooms downstairs as we were leaving on day 3.
I highly recommend paying for late check-out because we got to relax for several more hours and take our time. It was a deal offered online for $31 if still available at check-in. We had from 11am-5pm to check-out.
Hotel Staff:
There was always someone at the front desk to answer questions even at slow times.
We kept the do not disturb sign up most of the time but when we needed more cups and toilet paper I found housekeeping staff across the hall. They gave us what we needed. As we were leaving our room we realized we needed help carrying our bags and miscellaneous stuff down. Even though they were busy checking in new people they desk staff still sent up a bell person and luggage cart.
Pricing:
I booked the room only a few weeks in advance but the price per night was still reasonable.
Highly Recommend:
I would stay here again, especially for events at the Golden 1 arena.
Large and clean room. Conveniently located for a visit to the old town and museums.
Despite having booked the parking, I was sent to the public paid parking lot next door.
Friendly, clean, polite staff & right in the middle of all the best restaurants and entertainment!! No need to drive your can walk everywhere.
Room was excellent except it was a adjoining room and the occupants door were noisy,
Don’t know if all rooms are adjoining in the hotel , I m sure the front desk could have done better
Also most hotels I stayed at would compliment you a couple of bottles of water
As a Platinum I expected better treatment
Convenient location and clean.
No Wi-Fi without IHG membership.
Great value, nice and clean. Very new property still working out bugs in the systems.
Rooms were cleaning comfortable. TV was rather old but good enough. Location was great right downtown if that’s where you wanna be. Price was than those offered by equal quality hotels in the area. Service was especially polite and helpful. There wasn’t parking included had to pay 50 bucks to park it in the parking garage across the street behind the hotel or pay a little more to park in front of the hotel. That was a little disappointing but there was a security guard patrolling the parking garage.
Ubicación, tamaño de habitaciones, amabilidad del personal
Aislacion de las ventanas deficiente, se escucha el tráfico de la carretera en la noche
Great people!
I had to pay for parking but, for a shingles more I had front row parking on a very rainy weekend. Customer service is great.
The elevator, slow and loud. If I wasnt on the 10th floor I would walked.
Always a great stay. The staff are the best and are always pleasant and helpful.
