Great …. Apart from room 105 !
Pros:

Good location , plenty of facilities, good choice of food and drinks

Cons:

Room 105 ! It has an enormous extractor fan on the roof which is so loud you can hear it in the corridor ! The hotel obviously know as they have put plastic film on the window . We were able to be moved across the corridor. This room should not be let out !

Ontprikkelend verblijf als je niet gehaast naar de boot wil en Newcastle wil bezoeken.
Pros:

Het personeel was behulpzaam, netjes en zeer vriendelijk te noemen. Het comfort was top als je een hotel zoekt om even luxe voor betaalbare prijs te verblijven en rustig Newcastle wil bezoeken en rustig terug wil naar de ferry.
Het eten en drinken was top (wat prijzig, maar waar niet). Het zwembad was ook zeker de moeite waard.

I thought that the room could have done with another light. It was quite dark even with all the lights on. It didn't really matter though.

Travel cot was dated and a double bed sheet was used which was obviously too big and a suffocation hazard. Take your own sheet/cot mattress if you can.
