Good location, reasonable walking distance from both the French quarter and the conference venue, decent facilities including an outdoor pool
Pool maintenance could have been better, but water was clean.
That i was charged twice for one room.
Location, staff, nice hotel
The air didn't cool the room enough, my only complaint.
This hotel is really great and I look forward staying here again on my next visit. Front desk staff are fast and friendly.
Large, comfortable rooms and bed, hot shower with coffee machine, mini fridge, ironing board and safe.
Slippers would be greatly appreciated.
Location, Front desk staff and Longitude 90.
Unfortunately, our stay started off poorly when we arrived to find our initial room was not clean. The cabinet door was hanging off the hinge, there was spoiled food left in the refrigerator, and the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned properly. After bringing these issues to staff attention, we were moved to another room that was better, but still not up to the quality and standards we’ve experienced at other Wyndham hotels. Housekeeping was also inconsistent during our stay. Even after requesting daily service, our room was only cleaned 1 out of the 4 days we were there. The pool area was nice however the pool did not look clean and appeared to have algae growth on bottom and sides.
Location was great! Bar and valet staff were very helpful and nice.
The usage for people that were not guest at hotel. A fight happened in the lobby as I was returning to my room on Saturday night. A lot of chaos and very disturbing.
The location is excellent downtown just a short walk from Bourbon street - but far enough away from the noise at night. There are 23 floors, and we were on top so the views were great. I arrived on my Harley after riding 900 miles from Florida and Jonathan the valet manager was really helpful to me on where to keep my motorbike. Joy on front desk is delightful, as are all the front desk team - it’s a busy place full of locals enjoying the weekend. The city apply 4 extra taxes on the room rates plus resort fees that hotels feel the need to levy these days, but they give you $13 credit daily to seat the bar. Room 2222 was great, but the windows leak a bit when its raining hard so maintenance need to check that out. We’ve really enjoyed our visit (my wife fly in to meet me) and we’d stay here again for sure! Only area that needs work is breakfast - food is good but the service is really SLOW!
Property was pretty
Water pressure low, no hot water in the faucet, toilet flushed slowly and no refrigerator in the room undo it was suppose to have one
Very nice place customer service was great 10/10 no complaints at all
It didn't have a microwave
Friendly staff
The wait time at valet
It's not often that I write reviews, but I was compelled to do so after my recent trip to Le Méridien New Orleans, where I went to celebrate my 60th birthday. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we were greeted by warm friendly staff that could not do enough to ensure that our stay away from home, was like being at home.
It all kicked off with bartender Paul, who brought us champagne to our room along with some moreish mini macaroons. The next morning my wife and I was asked, by Ms Joy (she is so New Orleans by the way🤣), how we slept. My wife mentioned a little noise and then we went out to see the wonders of "Nawlins". When we came back, Front of House Manager, Ty, offered us another room and personally ensured that our bags, were moved to another great room. There was no fuss and a "can do" attitude was always the motto by all staff (special mention to bar tender Brandon and also Shardnea on front desk - apologies to all the other lovely front desk staff whose name I did not manage to get). From that moment onwards, Ty checked in on us and she became an extended member of our family (giving great suggestions where to go and what to do) which made my stay, for my 60th, one to to truly remember. If we were not ready to have our room cleaned, the room attendant always worked to our time and when we went out, we always came back to a sparkling room. I also appreciated that there was an option to use an iron and ironing board (in your room) as well as in-house laundry. By the way, on the 4th floor of the hotel, there is a lovely out door pool area to lay and get those rays and some needed vitamin D (especially when you come from sun deprived London🤣).
With the food, drinks, early evening live music in the lobby (played at just the right level) and always helpful staff - this was a treat to savour. Le Méridien New Orleans, (as Tina once sang) you're simply the best.
