A great family stay
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay in Italy at the Crowne Plaza. It was a welcome sanctuary from the heat, and the swimming pool was very refreshing. Breakfast Buffet was a hit with the kids.

It is a bit further away from the city, so we were reliant on the restaurant and Taxi's. The staff there were always pleasant, and on our last evening were really good. Felt more like eating at a friends place. Food was good too.

Pros:

This is a large comfortable hotel with a full spa that features steam, sauna and jacuzzi as well as Massage by appointment (and extra) I didn't try the massage as I was only there 1 day and they were booked out but the rest of the spa was great. I want to call out the service of Karan at the front desk who checked me in, a very helpful, capable young man who helped with my late checkout when my plans changed and also with directions and restaurant recommendations. Overall a great place to stay, a little bit older place but great service and large comfy room.

Pros:

Amazing staff, very polite and helpful, nice outdoor pool and tennis court, small but useful and open 24/7 gym; had no time to visit the spa but it looked inviting, good shuttle and taxi service, sometimes used the public transportation to go to the center and the stop was close and you could pay with the phone in the bus. A big applause to Nino the piano man, whose repertoire charmed our evenings.

Cons:

We had a premium room located on the ground floor so the window didn’t open fully, which made the air in the room feel not fresh. Also, the lack of balcony meant there was no place to dry our bathing suits. For the rest, we had a good stay and we would come back to this hotel, mainly thanks to the staff.

Lovely indoor spa
Pros:

This is a great hotel for both a city break and enjoying relaxation at the outdoor pool and indoor spa. We had a warm welcome by the lovely Giusy and Valentina at the indoor spa pool which is a good break from the outdoor heat!

Pros:

Piscina limpa e com boa exposição solar, pequeno almoço variado e serviço de shuttle disponível (apesar de que podia ter mais horas).

Cons:

Limpeza insuficiente, banheira com bolor, carpete a cheirar a velho. Pedimos para desfazerem o sofa e foi necessário dois pedidos. O berço do bebé estava velho, sujo e muito torto. Tivemos de dormir com o bebé connosco pois era demasiado desconfortável para o bebé que nem ficava direito nas almofadas que colocaram para disfarçar. Barulho das maquinas do ar condicionado na xona exterior tornavam a noite pouco silenciosa, felizmente estávamos demasiado cansados e conseguimos adormecer.

Rome - July 2026 (Family x3)
Pros:

Great facilities at this hotel, nice large swimming pool, friendly staff, comfortable large rooms, with a balcony. Great selection at breakfast and the restaurant in the evening had a good menu to select from.
Admittedly the hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes out from the city centre, but we knew that and after early morning starts to sight see, the swimming pool and sun beds, oh and the pool bar, was a welcome relief from the heat (be prepared July is hot). We utilised the spa facilities steam room, indoor pool and jacuzzi.
Special thanks to Beatrice at reception for a fantastic check-in experience, Robin and Paolo in the restaurant for their attention and service when they were clearly very busy.
We had a room for 3 people (my wife & I & our 17yr old daughter), huge double bed and a single sofa bed, all the facilities you would expect, plus a mini fridge.
All in all we had a lovely holiday, the hotel stay (4 nights) played a massive part in making our trip so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the team at the Crowne Plaza, St Peter’s, Rome, we loved our stay with you.
