The room was a little small but compared to other hotels I've stayed in in the area.
Alma at the restaurant gave us great service. What a very sweet, hardworking server.
This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time! The staff was super nice and helpful! We got the continental breakfast and Alma was our server. She was very sweet and her customer service was A+!! Her smile started our day right! We will definitely be back!!!!
Mani , he drove us one night to a restaurant and Michael the bar tender were the only people on staff that made us feel welcome.
The staff seemed put out to assist in any way, the elevators, yes all of them malfunctioned multiple times, the pool and hot tub were dirty. The first night we arrived. We tried to get service in the Lounge, no one greeted us or asked if we wanted a drink. When we went up to the bar to ask if we were supposed to order up there, we were treated very poorly and decided to just leave and not spend our money at the hotel. We will not be staying at this property ever again.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfectly placed and cleaned, just as one would expect from a business specializing in hospitality.

The Royal Sonesta has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The rooms are updated and spotless. The service is excellent and the management highly visible during the day. The lobby bar and snack bar are a hotspot of fun in the afternoons and evenings, and although I didn’t try the restaurant it had breakfast and dinner available. You can’t beat the location for shopping and restaurants, and the hotel even offers a shuttle within a 5-mile radius. Don’t hesitate to book the Royal Sonesta!

Customer service was GREAT. Alma in the restaurant was very accommodating. Valet needs work though. The valet staff was extremely rude.
We had an excellent experience and the Ara restaurant staff was outstanding. We arrived at closing time and still Alma took great care of us and always with a large smile. Business trips can get busy and these moments of kindness make all the difference.
Everything exceeded my expectations
The entire place smells of marijuana, the gym is small and very tight, laundry was broke, hot water was hit and miss, and maid service was late and neglected to supply half the towels. For a hotel that is in this price range I would have expected much more and clean environment free of stenches of drugs. Would never stay at another sonesta
The hotel is in need of renovation. Stayed several nights, isolated experiences: smell of pot around the entrance, no hot water in the shower, party noise in the hallways.
Alma is very sweet and turned a flight cancellation into a positive meeting :)
