Very clean room.

good communication, the owner/manager called me the day before to run through the process
as i left i spotted a fridge and microwave, not sure if it was for guests to use, however it would have been nice to use if it is, as i stayed 2 nights i could of kept some drinks cold
i moved my son into halls, and it was a short 10 min walk away
i parked on the street with no issues
it said if you wanted towels changed leave on the floor, i hung mine up, as i was happy to reuse, i wouldnt expect on a 2 night stay for the housekeeper to come, however they did and changed the towels, despite there being a notice in the bathroom re towels being washed unnecessarily!
would have stayed again in a couple of weeks but i found a cheaper hotel
shops are a short walk away
i had the room nearest the front door and was perfect, it was clean, defiantly a budget hotel, but it was a base to sleep in, everything worked ass expected
a few steps up to the property, incase you have mobility issues

Just a short walk from the waterfront a good restaurant on the same block. There’s no front counter. You just talk to the person managing the place through two a speakers.

Great little hotel. Clean enough and perfect location for Graduation. The mattress isn’t the comfiest but was ok for a night. Would stay here again if I visit.

The room was in the basement and the size of a box. Deceiving pictures. Hated it so much we left a day early.
Beware of the word budget.

Commotion at 2am people banging doors trying to get into hotel and running around hotel shouting. No staff to deal with this.

I wasn't aware until I checked in online that the keycard was going to be in a lock box. All good though, seemless entry into property. The room was clean with kettle, coffee,tea, with UHT milk being replenished each day. Double bed with 3 good size pillows.
The bathroom was nice, decent size shower, no issues with hot water. There was a fan supplied, which was great. TV worked fine once I worked out how to change channels. I believe there was a small share fridge and microwave in the hallway. For cheap accommodation this was definitely excellent. I'm travelling on my own.

The price was very cheap, so I got what I paid for. Very small room with large comfortable bed so only space about half a metre on either side and one metre at the end of bed. Not enough room for 2 suitcases. Small TV, one small bedside table. Lots of plumbing and tv noise from other rooms. Window overlooked a filthy smelly courtyard with flying insects and pigeons so we didn't open window (no aircon). Shower sprayed water all over bathroom floor, curtain didn't prevent it. Shabbily renovated, gap in the floor under carpet. Good location though.

This hotel went beyond my expectations. Was easy to check in, very clean and had a massive comfy bed.

It was a good clean property and not far from where we wanted to visit.

No Wifi details provided, lots of wonky things (headboard, lights, etc.), no hairdryer, no breakfast offered. Quite a few stairs too. Seems like a lot of money was invested in technology such as magnetic card to get into the building and bedoom (although I had to push really hard to get in), cameras in every possible corner -makes you feel spied on if anything- but none of this actually really benefits the overall guest experience. You have to ring if you need support since there is no actual reception so not very modern. Dated wallpaper and furniture. Mattress not particularly comfortable. Also the alarm from a car in the car park went off quite a few times between 11 and midnight. Does the job if you just need to crash for the night but not the best experience. I paid just over £50 and I thought this was way overpriced for what it is.

The too was small for 3 but comfortable. Overall there was no issues

It was perfectly fine for what we needed, it is a budget hotel and that’s what you expect. We literally only needed a bed for the two nights as by day we are out. No complaints at all. It was also located perfectly as you cross over and go to your left you walk into Southsea, go to the right you’re in town or heading for the docks.
It was tricky to get any water in the kettle from the little sink in the bathroom, the toilet had no cap on the flush, you had to press down on the bit the sticks up and there was no plug in the little sink. Only minor little things but all in all, great for a nights sleep between exploring Portsmouth and probably nearly half the price of the hotels closer to the docks. Did a lot of walking everywhere and loved Portsmouth!

Absolutely did the job. Walking distance to Southsea, the town centre and Gunwharf. V easy check in. Great to offer 3 single beds in one room. Room was clean. Likely to stay here again.

Spacious room, good facilities for budget hotel. Central hotel, clean, comfortable and good communication.
If you are a light sleeper and in the triple room bring eye mask and ear plugs as traditional windows let the noise in and curtains let the light in as they are bay. Otherwise great value .

The hotel is very basic but clean. It's exactly what it says; budget hotel.
Bizarrely, we came back from a day out, the bin was emptied and a towel we used was folded, but the shower wasn't cleaned and the beds weren't made.
It was a bit noisy from the people staying upstairs and the traffic from outside.

stagg were really helpful and friendly. the room could do with a hairdryer but thats picky ... overall excellent . thank you

It was a nice quiet area
Room was small and shower unit area very small.
Room service was very good and very plesant staff
Parking should be free as it was handy for the likes of me disabled.
Overall I would stay there again.

Good value for money. Good location, Viet. $. Indian Restaurant close by . 15 min walk to Harbour & city centre
