CLOSE PROXIMINTY TO MY DAUGHTER ON THE UNI CAMPUS
BED WAS TOO HARD
WHEN STAYING AT A HOTEL YOU KIND OF EXPECT A COOKED BREAKFAST AVAILABILTY ESPECIALLY AT A WEEKEND THIS WAS NOT, ONLY A PACK COLD WAS SO HAD TO FIND ANOTHER VENUE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THIS IN TOWN.
Does what it 'says on the tin'.......A comfortable stay in a very convenient location. The location was very quiet which allowed a good nights sleep and parking was easy.
The breakfast offering on a weekend is just a 'grab bag' which I didn't find very appetising. Booked several rooms, one of which should have been an accessible room which the hotel was unable to provide. There is a lift though, so stairs were not a problem.
Great location for uni of Northampton parkrun, you can roll out of bed and be at the start in the blink of an eye.
Bathroom light stayed on for ages afterwards, lights on smoke alarm meant disturbed sleep.
The amenities provided were great. The fan was also helpful to cool down the room. The room was big and airy. The bed was comfortable.
The carpet could have been vacuumed better as there was a piece of the biscuit wrapper missed under the chair by the floor lamp. It would be great if there was a mat provided when you go out of the shower.

Personally my reason for booking this hotel was that it was close to University of Northampton parkrun. Little did I know it was literally steps away from it. Bonus.
The hotel was very clean and neat. Kettle etc in the room but also water which was nice. It was also a short walk to a little Morrisons
Not so much property related but you are asked to park in car park 3 but when you have parked there are no signs which say what direction you should go for the hotel. I had to ring reception and ask.
It was very central. The member of staff was knowledgeable and polite.
The bed was quite firm and pillows weren’t very soft.

in bathroom only extreme hot water ( boiling hot was supplied with a sticker beaware you may burn your self and no cold water. how any one can wash their face with extreme hot boiling water this hotel doesmt think and rectify this problem before some one complaint. any ways there was no staff to check me in i have to stand 15 minutes waiting at reception after coming back from work.
A great option for what we needed it for which was an event at The Waterside Bar on campus. Useful shop just a short walk away from hotel .. Car Park also close enough. Great large accessibility rooms. Nice communal area in reception, could even drink your own alcohol in it! Vending machine with snacks too which weren’t too expensive like most of them!
Shower cubical in bathroom was a bit small and shower head one of those static ones which you cant take off (A pet hate of mine in hotels!) Also no bath mat provided.
We were also in Room 1, and due to the persistent rain, the drainpipe being right next to the window and all the gathering water below the window, it was quite noisy and irritating as it dripped all night! (Drainage needs looking at) It was a 10am check out which was a bit early for a weekend and they were charging £10 if you wanted to extend for an hour (and that was only “if it was available”)

Served my purpose
There are two many led lights for various things that are on constantly or flash through the night. The bathroom light and fan seem to stay on far longer than normal after a visit. I think I'd chose somewhere else next time.
