Canopy Castellana welcomed us when we arrived in Spain and again after we explored the northern coast for a few days. We had an outstanding experience at the hotel. The accommodations are excellent and the staff are the very best. Especially Dani! He was so attentive and helpful and made us feel welcome. He offered to keep some of luggage in storage so we could travel lighter and I really appreciated that. I would not think twice about booking another stay in Madrid at this hotel. The location was great too; close to restaurants, shopping, and taxis conveniently available right across from the hotel.

Wow! The hospitality here has been absolutely incredible. Dani greeted us at the door with the warmest, friendliest welcome and took such wonderful care of us from the moment we arrived until the day we left. I can’t say enough about how kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming the entire staff has been. They made our stay truly unforgettable and have left us with the warmest memories of Madrid. Thank you all for making our visit so special!!

Genuinely, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff on the desks, at breakfast, the housekeepers, all absolutely fantastic. So many conveniences like a cold water station on our floor, ice available at the gym, and in a great location that's not too far out from the centre of Madrid, but has everything you need around it too.

We were upgraded to a top-floor room with a view through status, and I tried the live chat on my Hilton app a couple of hours prior to arrival, to ask if our mini-bar could be emptied to store our own drinks, if we were able to get some champagne glasses as we were bringing champagne (I said I would then get a bucket with ice from the bar on arrival). At the end of the conversation I mentioned how much we were looking forward to our stay and that it was for our anniversary. When we arrived, our room was clean, the fridge was empty, and there was a plate of fruits/chocolates, a bucket with fresh ice, and a bottle of sparkling wine for us. A really lovely touch. We even got a drink voucher without asking.

At breakfast, there was plenty of space even when it got busy, a really good selection of hot and cold foods, and for my wife, who has a gluten allergy, every morning they brought her a selection of cakes, wafers and toast. I also LOVE that they have butter in individual packets. This prevents things like cross-contamination. Often people with gluten allergies want to use butter but people use their knives to spread onto regular bread when the butter's on a big tray, but not here. A small detail but made a huge difference. One of the best hotel breakfasts we've had anywhere.

Every morning, our room (even though we try to make the housekeepers' job as easy as possible), was made to look brand new and they did a fantastic job.

When it was time to leave, we were given an extra 2-hours to check out, again, something that's not normally offered despite status, and made a huge difference considering the time of our flight home.

I don't know if my experience is in part due to being HH Gold, but this was probably the best stay I've ever had in a Hilton hotel and one of the best anywhere, ever. I've never been compelled to leave a review of a hotel before but our experience was so good that I just had to.
