Holiday Inn Hasbrouck Heights-Meadowlands by IHG

Stayed here while going to NYC to see the lights. This place is good for an overnight. We had no issues with check in. The room was much bigger than what you’d get in NYC and the rate was much more reasonable. The beds were comfortable, room temperature was fine, bathrooms were clean. There did seem to be a little issue with the water pressure, but a shower is a shower after a day in the city. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but I’m sure it was fine.

This place is a joke. I requested a bottle of water from the front desk manager as I was coughing. It was denied. I will never forget that. I am currently at another ihg express. They offered me bottled water coffee 24/ 7 and bananas in a basket. What a difference. Why would anyone stay in hasbrouck heights ihg with terrible service?

Love the Hotel. Alex is awesome! Extremely friendly and a great person to welcome me in as often as I'm here. The restaurant has great food and the staff is super friendly as well.

This hotel is a decent enough hotel, but the layout is very weird. There is one elevator in a small corner with a door that leads to parking lot. The elevator is really small. I booked this hotel for my mom so she could be close to the hospital to visit my dad. She did one night and didn't want to return. I checked her in, and honestly I just didn't feel safe. The lobby area is adjacent to an open bar/restaurant. There was a distinct smell of weed. Just creepy.

I had a wonderful experience with the front desk team during my stay. They were professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to help with my requests. Alexander was particularly amazing, offering great local recommendations and assisting with transportation logistics. Their attentiveness truly enhanced my visit. I felt valued as a guest and will definitely return.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room and hotel.

We had the very first room near a main entrance door that locked. Required key access and the sound of the beeping when key card was accepted and the unlocking and relocking of the door kept us up most of the night and up early morning.

We were in town for the Labor Day Weekend Oasis concert and couldn't have had a nicer experience. The room was comfortable, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, and the loveliness of the pool area was a nice surprise.

I stay here from time to time and the place and staff are always great

If you think you found a good deal, think again. The online pictures are not reality. The standard queen bed room looks like a room from the 80’s. The carpet smells and is stained. The restroom tubs are dirty. When I asked about the rooms that are advertised online they said the only room that looks like that is the handicap room. The food at the restaurant tastes like frozen food. I’m very disappointed in the service. The expectation that is shown is far from the truth.

Great place !

Nice rooms, cleanliness around, enough parking spots. Very convenient spot, lots of places to eat near the hotel and easy access to major roads and highways.
