Garner Hotel Totowa by IHG

Stayed at Garner Hotel Totowa by IHG — overall a good stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and the price was reasonable. Staff is soo friendly and nice, Specially fron desk lady Visha! the location is convenient.

It’s always a pleasure. Quick and easy check in process. This is my go to hotel when I need to escape.

Did like it cause it was a State of Emergency was only able to stay one night got charged for 2 said they could not refund… which is ridiculous

I love t he rooms. Super clean rooms. Everything here at the Wyndham gardens in totowa is amazing price is phenomenal as well. Most employees here are very kind and have an amazing work attitude. All except one younger man who works nightshift. Complimentary breakfast is delicious and a huge variety of breakfast items.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL

My room was unacceptable. Bathroom faucet was leaking, the toilet bowl was stained, the shower curtain was ripped at the end and not fully attached to the rod and there was no bath mat. Further there was no regular coffee, just decaf provided.

I explained all of the above to the front desk before leaving for several hours for a meeting and they offered to switch my room when I got back. However, upon my return, they told me that maintenance and housekeeping would be up to fix everything and that a room change was not necessary. As i was going back out again, I agreed to let it go with expectation that it would be fully fixed when i returned

When I returned, I found the faucet still dripping although much slower. however, the toilet bowl was still stained, the shower curtain still ripped, no bath mat - in fact, the used towels were taken away but NO NEW towels to replace those that were taken were provided. NO coffee was added and the garbage in the main area was not emptied. I don't know what exactly housekeeping did but certainly not their job.

Additionally, when I attempted to call the front desk from the hotel phone, the PHONE DID NOT WORK.

The Quality Inn at Wayne NJ was unacceptable and thus we needed to transfer to a nearby acceptable facility. Yours definitely met our goal!

The joint on the highway makes a lot of noise with the vehicle tires so the windows needs sound proof

I stay here because of the cost and the proximity to family at Christmas. I am here only one night. The staff is welcoming, nice and accommodating. The hotel itself could use some love. The common areas while appearing clean are old and shabby which gives the hotel a run down look. The rooms are reasonably clean but things like a rumbling heater system, an extremely noisy faucet, decorative tiles around the base of the tub falling out, caulking in the shower missing, shower heads not tight within the wall, and water stains on ceilings make for a dingy appearance. Good news: beds and pillows are comfortable and no bed bugs.
