Location for our trip to Knoxville.
Room was hot and took forever to cool down. Hot water took at least 20 minutes to get to our room to shave or shower. Bed was king size and broken on the door side of bed where you wanted to roll off the bed all night. Think people stay here for airport ease.
It is a great location for getting to the airport quickly.
I stayed last night as we were traveling from Indianapolis to Florida for vacation. Several things about this place if you’re a family traveling to this literal cesspool.
1) there is an overwhelming odor of sewer or mildew or something.
2) I am aware all hotels are different even if they’re of the same chain. I travel OFTEN for work and stay at either IHG’s or Hiltons. The only reason I stay at IHG outside of the price break for my job is they usually have decent free breakfast. This stay, they apparently do not provide free breakfast. However, not knowing that given the countless IHG’s I’ve stayed at had the old black crow how works there “yall gonna eat I’m gonna need your voucher” okay we’re somewhere south and maybe that’s how she talks. My response of oh it’s not free with the stay? “Haha yeah right, if you don’t have a voucher you need to go buy one.” Listen we stopped here at night and thank god because we’re right in a sketchy area across from what I think is a dilapidated law office and a gas station with only the best folks you could imagine running around like varmants in the night. Unprofessional, off putting and rude.

Stephania and Tanae at the front desk gave the absolute best customer service. Call this number for front desk to make reservation.
+1 205-909-1999. If not, any other number is a scam. They were so friendly. I appreciate the efforts made by Tanae to call out a scammer from number I received when trying to book our room from a website. The room with king size bed was nice and clean. Bar staff was friendly.

We had to walk to the hotel at night because the transportation service was unreliable and misleading.
It is also not the closest to the airport. We past the Ramada on the way there at night. On foot. My husband has bone cancer and I have asthma.
And if that wasn’t enough when we got there my room had mold. An actual health hazard and I have yet to get a refund or compensation for the health concerns of my room.
Neat airport
Air conditioner did not work and we tried two different rooms. The carpets were old and a bit scary.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle was prompt leaving the hotel and came within minutes of calling to be picked up.
We have stayed here for the last 3 years same time every year. We stay here because of the bar restaurant and they closed at 9:00. This is a big sports weekend and would not have scheduled like we did if we would have known the bar would have been closed. Undrr new management it hasn’t been that way in the past
