19‑year IHG Diamond member. Stayed in two rooms on the 3rd floor with 4 adults and 5 kids. Overall, a great visit thanks to exceptional staff.

Outstanding service from Tami, Wendy, Carole, Gavin, Patti, and Hailey—everyone was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Carole was wonderful in the restaurant, and Gavin was especially impressive with prompt requests, extra towels, warm greetings, and keeping common areas clean. Front desk staff were consistently supportive.

One concern: the rear parking lot near the entrance still lacks proper lighting, which feels unsafe during icy conditions. This was also mentioned during a November stay and has not yet been fixed.

Despite this, the service makes this location stand out. We plan to return soon—thank you to the team for a great stay.

I love this place! Becca at the front desk, is lovely., personable, n helpful. I'm always happy to see her, n she always greets me with a smile. Sam in the restaurant, is super sweet, n can't forget, Daniel, n Samantha from house keeping., who are always working hard, to make our stay comfortable.i love that the fireplaces are always roaring, creating a warm n cozy atmosphere, and the perfectly lit pine tree, is a fantastic addition to the lobby. I hope they never take it down.

We stayed here midweek with our 7-year old daughter seeking some winter pool time. It was a busy week and we wanted a king room with a lake view but they didn’t have one available. The bed was super comfy and the room was clean and had the usual amenities - tv, microwave, coffee maker, sofa, desk tub/shower.

The breakfast is extra and there is an omelet station worth a visit. Pancakes and French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties and cereals including fresh oatmeal. A nice breakfast.

There’s a kids play room, gym, small arcade style game room. We were here for the pool and were not disappointed. The pool is nicely heated with a maximum depth of 5 feet. There are plenty of lounge chairs and several tables surrounding a large indoor patio. The sauna next to the pool is perfect. The outdoor hot tub became the star as we quickly scooted from the indoor pool and sauna the handful of steps to the hot tub. Refreshing on cold winter days.

The front desk staff is a professional and very friendly group of people. Very accommodating, & helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

The restaurant and bar are also great.

Brought 30+ people this year and it was great. Starting with Patti at front desk helping with everyone's reservations, she was friendly, polite and accommodating. The GM Courtney is just the best she handled are group with such care and ease always with a smile. Thank you for setting up space for us. Tonya and Jen always taking time to chat and making us feel like we belong. Our suite was clean and comfortable, housekeeping is great always there to meet our needs. Also true of maintenance staff. Tyler, restaurant/bar manager one of the best he took care of all of us for dinner with such ease and very polite. Room setup for Superbowl was amazing. Everyone loved the food and also superbowl buffet kudos to the chef and kitchen. Nicole, bartender took very good care of us, as did all the servers and bartenders very friendly. Pool and hot tub area were definitely enjoyed great area to relax and unwind. Vinnie, the owner always making improvements to the hotel. He also takes the time to chat with you. We cant say enough positive things about this hotel and it's wonderful staff that's what keeps us coming back, thank you.

Very clean - excellent restaurant- staff was extremely accommodating for the large group we were with - the entire trip was pleasant and definitely will stay there again and recommend to others !!!

Great hotel! A couple of 30 of us went. They were very accommodating and gave us a space to gather. Had a Super Bowl party and the food was excellent. Very clean and the staff was wonderful! Definitely worth it and will be back!

We always have the best time in Lake George. SuperBowl at the hotel is great. They had a Buffett, game in big screens in conference room and wait staff specially designated to the gathering area.
Ice Bar on property was top notch and if it weren’t so cold we would have spent much of our time right there.
Rooms are super spacious and comfy. Bedding was plush and mattresses were perfect after a long day of play. Room staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed restocked daily.
Oh, did I mention the amazing hot tub and pool. Perfect way to start the day.
Holiday Inn Lake George never disappoints. This is our 5th year going up for SuperBowl weekend and will be back again next year. Come check it out for yourself.

My Husband and I Absolutely Love staying at the Holiday Inn Resort in Lake George. There’s lots to do right on the property and inside the resort. Very clean, relaxing and the staff is amazing. Patti at the Front desk is an absolute delight, friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful.

Becca from the very first stay, has made it a point to learn our names, remember us, and treat us like more than just another reservation number. Every time we walk in, we’re greeted like we’re actually wanted there and that is rare in hospitality. She always goes out of her way to make sure we’re comfortable, taken care of, and honestly, she’s the reason we keep coming back.
This hotel is lucky to have her at the front desk. If management is reading this: she is absolutely someone you want representing your brand. She turns stays into experiences, and that’s what keeps people loyal.

Patti at the front desk was extremely pleasant and and helpful. Here knowledge of the resort and area was awesome. She recommended eating onsite at TRs and it was delicious.

Incredible! Excellent family vacation. From Gary at check-in, to Carol at T.R.'s, and Courtney the GM, the team delivers true hospitality. Rooms are spacious, fireplaces are abundant, food is delicious and hot tub is the perfect way to end a day on the slopes. We look forward to coming back year after year!

Great location in the centre of Lake George. Clean, quiet. I went for New Years and several hotels in the areas were experiencing technical issues with their room keys, including this one, but the front house staff was so helpful. Patti especially, who I spoke with several times, was professional and quick to find alternative fixes for my stay. Would definitely books rooms here again.

If you will be visiting the Lake George area and want to stay in a beautiful hotel, at rates that are easy on the bank account, then you need to stay at the Holiday Inn resort hotel. I will always choose to stay there because they consistently exceed my expectations. The staff are always friendly and the GM ( Courtney Baker) takes the guest’s experience to another level!! Once you check in, you don’t want to leave. The rooms are always well kept and modern, the view of Lake George and the surrounding mountains is beautiful, the food at TR’s is top notch, and there are always activities to do at the resort, including live entertainment. Whether it’s a family vacation or traveling on business, you should check them out… you will not be disappointed!!

The holiday inn in Lake George, NY is a place that makes you feel like family. Courtney Baker the GM has done an exceptional job of creating a wonderful atmosphere for not only the guest but the staff. The way the staff goes above and beyond for their guests shows how the place is run. My kids and I went recently for the weekend and had an amazing time swimming and playing in the arcade. When I tell my kids we are going to a hotel to get away for the weekend they always ask to go to Lake George!!
