Nice place to stay at, but the pool was cloudy.
Pros:

Staff were great, room was good, sheets were clean, bed was comfortable, minifridge and microwave were convenient. Room layout was solid too.

Cons:

The pool water was pretty cloudy. It did not get better during the stay. There was definitely enough bleach though.

Good hotel, well located
Pros:

A very solid four blob hotel. The location is clearly not in the glitz of Hollywood or Downtown, but given the scale of LA it’s convenient for the main attractions and Monrovia is a nice suburb. Rooms spacious and comfy, nice pool and public areas. Housekeeping was haphazard, didn’t happen two days out of nine and on another day all the towels magically disappeared. That notwithstanding, recommended if you’re after a good base with some chilling time.
