I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
I am a longtime Marriott guest and previously held Titanium Elite status, staying over 75 nights a year with Marriott. I have never experienced anything close to this.
My room was filthy. The counters had not been wiped down, the desk and floors were dirty, and the adjoining room door would not lock, creating a serious safety concern. To make matters worse, I found a live roach in my room.
A coworker volunteered to switch rooms with me because of the door not locking. Unfortunately, after talking with the rest of my coworkers the next morning, we realized my room wasn't an isolated incident. One coworker found a mouse in their room. Another had a roach in the bed and was so disgusted they slept sitting upright in a chair all night. Another found blood on the mattress. Another had spiders in the bathtub.
None of us were able to get a proper night's sleep because of the conditions, and several of us didn't even feel comfortable showering because the rooms were so unsanitary.
The morning front desk associate was incredibly kind, compassionate, and clearly embarrassed by the condition of the hotel. She deserves recognition for how professionally she handled a situation that was beyond her control. Unfortunately, when I attempted to speak with the manager before leaving, I was told, "I'm busy. I'm on a conference call. I can't do this right now."
This property has serious cleanliness, maintenance, and pest control issues that Marriott needs to address immediately. I have reported this to Marriott Corporate and to my company so that airline crews are no longer assigned to stay here.
I sincerely hope Marriott takes swift action because this property does not reflect the standards associated with the Marriott name.
It was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was very pleasant during check in and check out.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
We have stayed here for 20 years traveling. Each year it gets worse. Outdated rooms. The parking originally was free but not now. They sold the parking lot. Was told $25 per day but then changed it to $12.50 a day. Poor security and our car was broken into with driver side window smashed and contents stolen. I won’t be staying here anymore. They will tell you free parking until you get there. Also strong smell if fumigating. You can do better.
