Pros:

Location was great for event across the street. Staff was super friendly and helpful. For noise, there was a noise machine provided in the room. We sleep with noise machines at home, so it was perfect. Jets landing at SJC fly pretty close to the hotel and we could hear doors slamming in the hallway. Bed was on the firmer side to what we are used to. Overall good stay

Would stay again despite some issues.
Pros:

Four things kept this from being 5 stars. First morning there was no hot water (it was fixed within an hour), the vacuum-type toilet is very loud, our bathroom door was incredibly noisy, and the shower faucet location makes it difficult to turn on. Other than that, great breakfast, clean quiet room and extremely friendly staff. Be aware it's $45 a night to park but I suppose that's the norm.

Stay here for convenience, cleanliness and comfort
Pros:

The location of the Hyatt Place San Jose Downtown is perfect for anyone attending a show at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts ...it's right across the street! it's easy to find after leaving the 680 freeway. Within a 5-10 minute walk are located several good restaurants. Although a bit pricy, the covered, locked parking facility at the hotel is very convenient and safe. Our room was clean , comfortable and quiet at night, probably because it looked out on the back rather than the active street in front which might be somewhat noisier, but might have a nicer view. Breakfast was quite good although we both thought the orange juice was kind of watery. For convenience, cleanliness, and comfort, we would both definitely stay here again.
