Grand Hyatt Washington

Convenient location adjacent to high-end shopping. The security staff is amazing. Welcoming, front desk. Nicely appointed rooms.

While I wasn't in charge of picking our convention hotel, the Grand Hyatt was a great venue for our meeting. Their large group breakfast and lunch buffets were healthy and plentiful. Concierge always does a great job securing and taking care of everyone's luggage between the end of the meeting and late-in-the-day flights. Rooms were clean and updates continue to improve the hotel.

We were in DC for a combination trip - National History Fair and anniversary. The entire staff was amazing through our whole stay - from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The big surprise after we got there was that the Metro Center station is attached to the hotel - making it so convenient to get out and back. Highly recommend, and will definitely be staying here again on our next DC trip.

Every time I came ReShaun made sure the door was open for me and his customer service was excellent. He showed where to get ice cream and I couldn’t be more thankful! Thank you ReShaun!!

Location is very convenient, reaching to the hotel or commuting is very easy as it has a direct metro connection. The staff and customer service were great, all of them were helpful and nice.

This hotel is very large and close to the convention center. It is easily accessible by Metro or taxi. I consider this more of a business conference hotel. The check-in process was torture. I was promised the room would be ready at 4 pm. It was not. I was told I would receive a text when the room was ready. I did not. No apology was offered. The room itself was clean, although it could use updating. Only one USB port as I recall. No coffee maker in the room. The restaurant was closed for renovations, and the room service menu is limited, expensive and not very good. The doormen did not offer to hail a taxi, so I did it myself. Having a Hyatt membership was not acknowledged or helpful. Not an overly friendly staff. Not much else to say. I had to stay here because of the conference I was attending. I would not stay here if I was just visiting.

The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was very kind. RaShaun was a perfect gentlemen, he helped me get to my room and was able to get me the directions I needed. He was also very talkative, which was appreciated.

An excellent experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I knew there were some ongoing renovations and that it is a large conference hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely return. The staff in the club lounge were exceptional, the check-in desk facilitated a quick and early check in, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Can’t beat the location and easy access to Metro!

Rashawn made a good visit a great visit. He was a welcoming and friendly face at the door. While the whole Hyatt team was wonderful, he made me laugh as I closed out a tough day. That is invaluable.

Rashaun made my trip to DC extra special. He even made sure I got back to my hotel safely also offered great ideas about local restaurants. What a wonderful example of customer service done right! Thank You

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times as I attend a yearly conference here and each time the staff has been attentive, polite, and incredibly welcoming. Big shout out to RaShaun, who was manning the cars and outside door. He made a rec for a quick bite within walking distance that totally hit the spot. He was kind, patient, funny, and so welcoming with his smile. Made me feel like I knew him from long ago.
