This is a beautiful place! The staff is amazing, the food was fantastic and so were the drinks! The only reason why I cannot give this place 5 stars is due to two factors, 1- The kitchen and bar are under the operations of another company (Carla and her sister, who are amazing by the way!) but they do not accept credit cards. This threw me for a loop because when I booked the accommodations, I paid by credit card, and I did not read anywhere where about the kitchen and bar not accepting credit cards. I travel a lot, and I carry very little cash, only enough for transportation tips, etc. so I had to go through a lot to find cash to settle up my tab. 2- The staff doesn't get to the hotel until sometime between 8:am and 9:am, it is very inconsistent so by the time I get a coffee and food it is almost 10:am. This was very difficult to handle. I am up at 5:am like clockwork because I have to work remotely while I travel and everywhere else, I stay, there is always some sort of provision for food and coffee much earlier than 10:am.
If they could remedy these two issues, this place would get 5 stars hands down! Once again, the staff was amazing and so was Carla's food!!
Would have been 5 stars but there was no water for showering or flushing toilets in the morning.

No running water. They let there cisterna get too low and did not call for water delivery in time. Unable to take showers on check out morning. Had to drive without showering.
Listing stated complementary bottle water...there wasn't. They went to OXXO to buy us 3 bottles but we had to pay and tip.
Coffee maker in room but no k cups provided.
Listing stated sound proof rooms...we were serenaded with many dogs barking and fighting sounds throughout the night. The sounds changed around 4 am to hearing the chickens and roosters. Then around 7 am we were serenaded with 2 woman speaking loudly next door for over 1/2 hour.
We notified staff that we had no water. Someone said they would have someone check into it. 5 minutes later that person called us back as they are checking into. We decided to leave just before 9 am as other guests told us they notified the front desk over an hour before and they received similar responses. As we were leaving we talked to the maintenance man and he said that he called the Pipa (water delivery) at 630 am and they're waiting for them to show up.
This place is perfect! We rented the whole thing to ourselves and we had an absolute blast. The service and on site team is amazing, funny, helpful.
The food is really good.
Can’t beat a private pool, sunset views, close to all the restaurants and beaches.
We def want to come back!
This hotel was beautiful, the staff was kind & excellent, & the location was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean too! Can't write enough about how wonderful our time was there. Can't imagine staying anywhere else within a 50 mile radius. Do yourself a favor & stay here!
Everything was perfect, the food was amazing, the beds were perfect, the showers were absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10. The pool and scenery was beautiful. The people and staff were excellent and very friendly. One of the best hotels that I have ever been at.
Had a great experience here. Hotel is new, with spacious rooms, nice pool and good bar. Staff is super friendly; the hotel manager went out of his way to help me find a local hiking spot (Punta Lobos - don’t miss it!), as well as to arrange transportation to my next destination, a hotel in Cabo. As well, they offer laundry services free of charge, which is super convenient.
Todos Santos’ downtown area is within walking distance, so this hotel is a good base for relaxing and exploring the town, as well as surfing at Cerritos beach - 15 mins away via car. I stayed during the low season, so curious to see what this hotels, and the town itself, will look like during a busier time of year. I’ll definitely be coming back here for another stay.
Todo fue increíble, limpio y el servicio espectacular. Regresaríamos cualquier día, la comida es maravillosa, y el jacuzzi una maravilla.
We would come back anytime, service was awesome, food was amazing and the hot tub out of this world.
The property is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. In addition to the big, beautiful pool, there's a very nice kiddie pool and a hot tub. The pool bar is awesome. Our bartender (Edwin) put a homemade ice cream bar in a glass with ice, and poured coffee and coffee liquor over it. It was pretty great. And the margaritas were fabulous. They specially got tamarind root because my daughter wanted a tamarind margarita. The rooms were very big and clean. We had the rehearsal dinner at this hotel with freshly caught fish to make fish tacos. The dish, and the chef, were both amazing. The housekeeping staff were very sweet with my two year old granddaughter. Highly recommend.
We stumbled upon this gem of a hotel when we went for a quick overnight 'vacation within a vacation' to Todos Santos during our recent trip to Mexico. First let me say that there are only eight--as in 8--as in ocho--total rooms in the entire hotel, which means even when the hotel is "packed," you still feel like you have the place to yourself. The pool is big enough for our whole family to enjoy, there's a hot tub right by the bar, the food is great, and the rates were relatively inexpensive. Plus both of my kids had their own bed (the couch is really a very cozy bed, and it has a separate pullout mattress area beneath it, which means you could sleep up to six people in the room if you put two people in each double bed and one on both of the sofa mattresses).
Yes it's a tad off the beaten path (0.4 miles outside the city center), but you could easily walk or drive into town. And the staff... how have I not mentioned the staff until now?? Everyone there is fabulous, bending over backward to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Manuel is the bartender / server / house guy, and was incredibly polite. One of the cooks had her son assisting her and he helped bring out the food. It felt like a family operation in the best possible sense, and we were part of the family.
I'll also add that while we are a family of four with young-ish kids, there were three single guys from France staying there the same time we were, and a group of motorbike riders checked in the next morning, so this hotel definitely caters to all types. The rooms were all very well appointed and I loved the fun, pseudo-trendy style. No in-room kitchen, but there was a mini fridge.
You will not be disappointed. I can not recommend this place more!
We stayed at the Quinta Santa Rosa with 30 friends to celebrate our wedding, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is beautiful and PERFECT for a group event. Ahmed, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He coordinated COVID tests for everyone on the last day of our stay - we were able to take them poolside. The bartenders, Edwin and Miguel, were amazing! Our whole group was raving about the service. We truly felt like friends by the end of the week. Fatima and the rest of the cleaning staff were so friendly and even did laundry for us. The food was INCREDIBLE - it was like we had private chefs for our stay. They were available to make us anything we wanted at any time, and everything was perfect. Michelle, the event coordinator, helped us put on an amazing dinner party. Every detail was perfect. If you are on the fence about booking this property - DO IT. We will remember this trip for the rest of our lives.
We went for a wedding and the staff was more then generous. We missed our shuttle and they offered to take us to the wedding and places around the city. The food is amazing, the rooms super spacious and neat. The bathroom was impecable and super nice. The pool was cold though but those days were cloudy with almost no sun. The jacuzzi/hot tub was amazing and super relaxing. I would definitely stay again if I return to Todos Santos
Stay here if you want to be physically attached on property by a patron who has been grossly over served alcohol at the hotel bar and has become violent and psychotic.
Stay here if you don’t mind that the hotel does not provide reliable security or night watch, and you would like to hear said intoxicated patron screaming, swearing, beating and kicking objects, doors, etc throughout the entire night around the hotel.. *and would like to wake up to your car (and other vehicles) having been heavily vandalized aka beaten in with a rock.
NO staff were available on property to even *attempt to attend to this situation for many many hours.
My car received upwards of $2,000 usd in damages. The hotel and the police promised that there would be “no problem” and that Quinta Santa Rosa would graciously pay for all the damage.
Unfortunately, this gracious offer quickly devolved into my having to deal with an incredibly rude representative of the company, who constantly eluded that I was somehow trying to take advantage of them every step of the way. I had to make repeated trips to the police station, endless text messages and voicemails and phone conversations and several in person meetings spanning over a month with the manager. I finally received *some compensation.
It is now over two months later, and I am still owed $500 worth of body damage repairs to my vehicle. This company is a ***literal nightmare. Do not stay here! Unless you are interested in this kind of experience… or any experience where you may have the “pleasure” of relying on this horrendous management. How are these people working in hospitality? Mind blown.
Also, Dear Hotel Quinta Santa Rosa,
I’m still waiting for the $500 you owe for body damages to my vehicle…? When should I expect you to come through on your agreement? Thank-you.
This has to be my favorite hotel stay ever. The staff were extremely friendly and the pool/jacuzzi combination was fantastic. The chef was outstanding. It probably helped that there was only one other family staying there but I had the most relaxing time ever at this place.
The pool is a salt water pool and the temperature was outstanding. It was beautifully maintained and opening your eyes underwater feels fine. I loved the jacuzzi. That thing was top of the line. It’s right next to the bar so you can really live the good life in that thing.
The TV in the room was huge and new. It was running off the internet so I watched a lot of Netflix on it and there’s was never any problem with connectivity and enough data. On the tv by the bar they were playing NBA playoff games live without commercials.
The shower was really strong with plenty of hot water. There were roosters next to my room but I only heard them if I opened the window in the shower. There were a couple prancing around the neighbor’s house.
The chef was awesome. I had his chilaquiles, machaca and steak salad. His machaca was better than the order I had at Casasola in Cabo (and that was quite good) and the steak ranchera is his salad was awesome.
I got to talk to everyone working there and they were all exceptionally nice and speak English. They politely laughed at my attempted jokes in Spanish. Edwin, the bartender, is a particularly cool dude and I even met the owner.
The only negatives I could come up with are that you have to deal with a couple blocks of dirt road to get there and the shower was slightly slow to drain.
This is a perfect place to stay if you prefer pools and jacuzzis to the beach and a personal touch. I felt like I had the place to myself and I’ve never gotten to know a staff so well.
We loved staying at the Quinta Santa Rosa Hotel. We were the only people there due to COVID and felt very safe and were treated like royalty for the entire 3 days we spent here. Highly recommend. Great attention to detail in everything.
Highly recommended.. good vibes, comfortable rooms and bed. Clean and nice facilities.. walking distance from the towns center district. Magical place, Todos Santos, and this hotel makes you feel at home.
If you are planning a stay in Todos Santos then you should definitely check out this place. It is a bit off of the beaten path but is a wonderful place. The rooms are very big with kitchens. The room we stayed in had a few cosmetic issues i.e. loose tiles in the bathroom but if that sort of stuff bothers you then hey you shouldn't be in Baja, right? The owners are wonderful, they were extremelly helpful. In fact they even gave us a charger for our cellphone that we had lost earlier on the trip. We will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Baja.
