Holiday Inn Gaithersburg by IHG

Nice room in a convenient location. The room met all our needs. We would stay here again.

We found ourselves in quite a pickle trying to leave Washington, DC on July 5th when our Jeep decided to have a mechanical failure. So I looked up a reasonably priced hotel as close as possible and it was this Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg, MD. The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to allow us to check in a little early considering the heat and our vehicle troubles. They let us renew our stay each day without question and without hesitation while we awaited our costly vehicle repairs. Ester, the breakfast lady was wonderful! Everything in the breakfast area was always clean with a beautiful setup and she was just so kind to us. Every breakfast we had there was phenomenal. I could tell she really took pride in her work maintaining the area: bussing tables, serving drinks, keeping the buffet clean and tidy. She was such a sweet lady and I really enjoyed seeing her in the morning. All of the staff were incredibly kind and understanding in our time of need and we really appreciated their services the whole time during our stay.

I would not recommend this hotel to solo woman. I was sexually assaulted in to the point where a civilian decided to call the police to my aid and now the hotel staff is saying that I am no longer welcome on the premises. The front office manager Shahid put me in a dirty room on my last day and told me that there was nothing he could do to compensate me. Miguel see is over there gossiping about me telling his coworkers and my mother that he knows me from high school and I have no idea who this manis John Elliott. The general manager tried to tell my mom that I was mentally incapacitated due to the sexual assault and that’s why I am allowed on the property. I am being discriminated against and disrespected. John Elliott told me that he is the boss and he has the end of B and that he is not gonna give me his district or regional manager’s number. I am currently in contact with BF Saul to resolve my issues that I am facings beware of this location if you’re a minority or a women.

Great Stay! Close to every where we needed to be. Josh & Chef Kenny at the restaurant really made our end of our stay dinner very special. Delicious Drinks, amazing chicken & homemade mumbo sauce, and spectacular dessert. Thanks so much!

Clean rooms, have a gym

Everything was amazing. The front desk, extremely polite and professional. The kitchen staff to include the cooks, bar tenders, and servers were friendly and hospitable. This is the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at.

Excellent location near North Bethesda where I had business.

My experience with the dinning staff in particular, and generally with all staff, was exceptional. Traveling due to a tragic loss - the staff truly took care of myself and family. They were kind, welcoming and truly created a home lole environment. The team work demonstrated is the mark of great leadership!
