This is a beautiful property. The 7 night stay here was excellent. The owners of this property went above and beyond. The accommodations were very well thought out. Great breakfast every morning. The pool and bar were amazing. You have a veiw to enjoy every day that looks at Pico and the ocean from every direction. We would definitely stay here again. Pedro went out of his way many times to make sure we had everything we needed and he went above and beyond. This hotel is a 5 star hotel. We are truly grateful for the hospitality he showed us. It was a pleasure meeting him and he was a true asset to the hotel and very accommodating. We appreciate all of the time you gave us.

Great boutique hotel in São Jorge
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotel in São Jorge - clean, newly renovated rooms with sea view (not 100% sure all rooms do have sea view, but ours did and it was really nice to wake up to that). Nice breakfast and great service from hotel management. Location is perfectly central so you can get everywhere in the island in no time if you have a car (parking is free and on site). I would very much recommend it to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful island!

Fantastic hotel

Really nice hotel. Great room with fantastic view. The breakfast was really good and the staff sometimes served an extra treat.
We arrived prior to check in time, with the intent to store our luggage. Since the breakfast was still open they invited us to have something to eat, free of charge.

We loved staying at Quinta da Magnolia! The building is beautifully designed - traditional building style outside with contemporary detailing inside. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean with a huge balcony. The staff is incredibly friendly and all spoke English perfectly (which was a welcome bonus since our Portuguese is less than stellar). We visited in the winter so the pool was not open, but beautiful to look at nonetheless. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Sao Jorge!

Pros:

Truly Amazing! We arrived late and they were there to greet us with no problem! Very accommodating to any of our needs, breakfast was excellent and made to order. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it!

We arrived late and were mildly chided for it, but the rest of our stay was fabulous. Despite our late ferry, we were greeted with drinks and pastries upon arrival. The room was well appointed and spotless, but the view of Mount Pico across the bay was incredible. Breakfast was wonderful. It is a gorgeous, new hotel with friendly, attentive staff and owners.
