Great property, close to everything. Family suite was the perfect room for us, traveling as a family of 6. It gave our kids plenty of space to move around.
Great staff
Dirty, everything was covered in dirt, dust, & water damage. Including the rooms & the restaurant. The pool was also dirty but still open. Half of the ceiling tiles in our room were either missing or had gaps with visible water damage. Bathroom was also gross.
Passing through for work. exactly what i needed.
Nothing
The property was clean and the staff was very professional
I did not have any dislikes about my stay
When a customer is paying for a hotel room, breakfast should not be an extra fee. Also we were very disappointed we were not allowed to check in early after 5 hours on the road, with 6 floors in the hotel and hardly any vehicles in the parking lot. We sat in our vehicle for an hour before being allowed to check in at 4 p.m. This is the first time I have experienced both of these things with a stay at a hotel.
Breakfast I did not even want breakfast after the night I had.
Upon arriving at 4:00 PM, there was a delay in check-in. After finally being checked in by Shair, I was informed that breakfast was not included in my rate, which was surprising given the nightly charge of $179.99 even when the internet stated breakfast was included on the website.
After entering the room and briefly leaving to attempt to find alternate lodging (due to concerns with the property), I returned only because other hotels in Springfield were fully booked due to a tournament in town.
Once back, I attempted to shower my children and discovered:
The shower was backed up
There was visible mildew on the ceiling
There was mildew inside the tub
I immediately contacted the front desk and was told the hotel was full and no room change was possible. As a result, my children and I were forced to use the lobby restroom facilities for the duration of our stay.
Later, while preparing for bed, I realized the room had no heat. Even after adjusting the thermostat, only cold air came through the vents — on a night when the temperature was 21°F.
When I contacted the front desk again, I was told someone would bring a space heater. After waiting 45 minutes to an hour, I called back and was informed I would need to come retrieve it myself because the clerk could not leave the desk.
At that point:
We had no functioning heat
No usable shower
We were relying on public restrooms
We were instructed to use a space heater in a hotel room with children present
Additionally, there were unsupervised teens running through the hallway knocking on doors repeatedly, including mine, which made it difficult to sleep at all.
Bar
Heat wasn't working.
we were only there about 12 hours total, not much to experience. Sleep, clean up, leave.
Room smelled clean on entry. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
Hot water in the walk in shower.
would have appreciated elevators at both corners of the building but that would probably be a huge investment.
If they are not going to use the what may have been a water feature, that could use something so not so ugly in its place. Maybe artificial plants/trees..... it really is an eyesore.
We did not plan to have breakfast while we were there but I had read that there was a breakfast, for an additional fee. Never saw where that was served and no one ever mentioned it. Was it really an option?

I like the room facilities was good. Personal frenly.
Breakfast was terrible. Cold (eggs no flavor. ) most the time I was no enough food and cold must the time
They do not offer complementary breakfast therefore we did not want to pay for breakfast after we had spent $200 on a room for one night
They could serve breakfast and not be rude when you don’t know that you’re not getting breakfast and make you put your food back and leave
Why do we have to pay for breakfast $169 at night and breakfast not free
