Pros:

Very strange to find such an original dining and lodging establishment in a quiet area of the country. We had a pleasant walk around town and walking to the high point, and to return to our hotel where we had good wine and good food.

Quirky and modern
Pros:

Stunning views. The hotel was modern and quirky. The service was excellent. The walk to Motovun old town was about 25-30 minutes uphill which was fun. Also did the winery tour which was informative and interesting.

Very comfortable stay with friendly and helpful staff, walkable to all the vineyards and amazing scenic views. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking at staying in Motovun, great breakfast options and dinner menu with wine pairing of their own wines.

Pros:

My only regret is that I booked this property for one night only. Definitely looking forward to coming back and spending more time in Motovun. This place isn't cheap, but it is totally worth the splurge. Amazing rooms, staff, breakfast buffet and wine selection!

The hotel is beautifully located and the Rox Suite in particular has magnificent views. We weren't told until after booking that the restaurant was unavailable during our stay due to a private function which was disappointing. Also the pool needs a bit of work as tiles are falling off.

Lovely location.
Excellent tasting menu in the restaurant with their wine and great staff.
The decor was not my taste but the location outweighs the style.
The bed height was also a challenge!
We decided against the bunk bed but was still tricky 🤔

Pros:

Overall beautiful clean property and views. Food was excellent too as well as friendly staff. Room however did not look like photos as it did when booking. Only a partial view of the grounds, most of it was the roof of the first floor. Air conditioning wasn’t as strong, felt hot in the room most of the night.

Funky high end hotel in good location

Funky rooms.
Functional room and bathroom.
The bed was comfortable.
The shower was excellent.
Very clean.
Incredible view from the terrace where they serve breakfast.
We were looking forward to dining at their renowned restaurant. We were disappointed that our dinner reservation was cancelled at the last moment since the President of Croatia decided to book the whole restaurant that night.

Beautiful property done to a excellent standard. We had a great stay. Pool area was fantastic. Not sure about the glass door on the bathroom in the room, tend to prefer a bit more privacy. Wine is excellent, could do with a corkscrew in the room

Pros:

we stayed here just one night. The view is fantastic and you're in awe as you enter because of that. We were able to park right next to the hotel for free, but I'm told that's not always the case. The pool was nice and it was very peaceful and quiet. The room was very stylishly furnished and the bed comfortable. A proper double bed, not one of those 2 singles pushed together things. We had dinner in Motovun on the hill. You could probably walk it in 35 mins from the hotel, but we chose to drive and park closer to the top. The breakfast staff at the hotel seemed lovely, but the staff elsewhere seemed a bit stuck up - just my personal impression. It's known for its wines, but they didn't seem seem that great and were rather expensive. Still worth it for the view
