The breakfast is absolutely beautiful,not big platefulls just top quality perfection. Staff with a smile who cant do enough and well equiped rooms. 1 observation,difficult to use tea/coffee facilities where they are housed,too low down and recessed,however we were pleased to have then
Gut gelegenes, modernes und gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbeeitem Personal. Leider kein Frühstücksbuffet, aber trotzdem alles in Ordnung. Gute Lage, gleich neben der Altstadt und fussläufig zum neueren Stadtteil.
Man muss den modernen Stil mögen. Die Gänge wirkten etwas wie ein Gefängnis.
Sehr stylisches Hotel in top Lage. Alle interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Betten sind top und das Zimmer gut zu verdunkeln und ruhig.

It would have been nicer if the bar area had a little more seating. We ended up standing one night as there were no chairs for our group ( 4 people).

The street noise
Beautiful hotel, spacious and comfortable room and the hotel really is in a great location for sightseeing and activities. The staff at the front desk was very accomodating. If you want to have access to the Old Town with tons of great restaurants and pintxo bars, Hotel Tayko is an excellent choice.
My teen-age son and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the Tayko Bilbao enormously, starting with the warm and friendly welcome of the reception staff.
The hotel building is beautiful and the rooms well appointed and comfortable - and quiet at night, considering how close the hotel to the lively old town.
The Ola restaurant is the jewel in the crown - the food is quite amazing and richly deserving of their Michelin star.
For us this is one of our all-time favourite hotels - and we already look forward to our next visit.
