Location was excellent. Close to cafes and good restaurants, and it is very walkable to most of Bilbao's highlights.
Love how an old building is renovated and retrofitted to become such a modern and comfortable hotel. Highly recoomend Tayko Bilbao.
Pretty much everything about this hotel was pleasing; the stylish interior, the warm and helpful staff, the availability of numerous pintxos restaurants in the vicinity, the tram stop just a few yards up the road going direct to the Guggenheim amongst other places.

Apart from breakfast and limited pinxos there was no other option for an evening meal other that the 140-270 Euro supper

Das Gebäude ist schön und die Architektur interessant. Siebzigerjahre sind sehr sauber.
Der Service war leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir waren über meinen Geburtstag dort und haben extra eine Suite gebucht. An beiden Tagen mussten wir mehrfach nach Wasser fragen, bis überhaupt etwas gebracht wurde. Zimmerservice gab es nicht – stattdessen sollten wir unseren Kaffee selbst unten abholen.
Bei der Anreise wurde eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit zu meinem Geburtstag angekündigt, die jedoch nie kam. Auch ein Geschenk, das meine Freundin an die Rezeption hat schicken lassen, hat mich nicht erreicht. (Leider zu spät erfahren)
Für 200 € pro Nacht erwartet man deutlich mehr. Dass die Gardinen Löcher hatten, ist bei diesem Service fast schon nebensächlich.

Fabulous location, comfortable and beautifully styled hotel with exceptional staff. Loved the welcome drink and pintxos. On the edge of the old town - it was convenient but still quiet.
The staff was excellent - both reception and the cleaning staff. The room and hotel were very clean. The location was excellent walking distance to all the major sites and shopping areas.
There is no room service for breakfast and the options offered in the evening are very scarce. The location is excellent, but the hotel parking is across a bridge and down a ramp. No service is offered to bring the car around - We would have happily paid an extra fee for valet.
