Clean, but in major need of overhaul
Pros:

The staff was lovely in the hotel was well located.

Cons:

It is very very old and all the facilities, especially the external need a major overhaul. While I liked the room had final floors and appeared very clean. The bed was terrible and had many saggy spots and was super uncomfortable. The bathroom was so small. It was hard to turn around.

While the private beach was nice it wasn’t worth the money to stay should have looked for a more updated and clean place
Pros:

Staff was good, private beach area was great with lounge chairs. Pool was clean! Breakfast was great and staff was on top of it with a pretty full hotel.

Cons:

Rooms are very outdated and need remodeling badly. Had a big roach meet us after we got back from dinner and the balcony doors were almost impossible to unlock and lock. Was too scared to pull out the pull out sofa. In all to much money for the lack of keeping it up

Pros:

view good, room okay, beach needs improved.

Cons:

We were there 4 nights and only 1 set of linens, towels and wash cloth for 4 nights. No one cleans the room, you take your own trash to trash cans outside.

A little upscale from other Quality Inns I've seen

Of course the location puts this location above others. Very comfortable beds. My room was updated, very clean, and there are constantly people keeping things tidy around the pool and sidewalks. The front desk staff was so friendly, especially Nelda, who even stored some half'n'half in the frige for me when I arrived before a room was ready. Breakfast eggs & sausage were decent, I didn't try the waffles. Good OJ.

You CAN turn left into the motel if approaching from the south. Don't let a map app make you cross the bridge & make a U-turn.

Note that the listing might indicate there is a balcony, but only the 2nd floor rooms in the 2nd building (at the south end) have a private balcony.

I mean was it cheap yes & it was exactly what I paid for.

What you pay for is what you get. I mean, the hotel was cheaper than most resorts, especially for a holiday weekend. The shower pressure sucks & the breakfast sucked. We thought we were getting a private balcony, but ended up just being part of the walkway for the top floor, so that is very misleading. The pillows were very small, like kids' small. There weren't enough towels in the room. The ice machine was broke all weekend, so that was disappointing. Would I stay here again, probably not.

It was nice and the bed was comfortable, it was clean and very neat but you can tell the renovation wasn’t the best and

The bed was comfy. The hotel was by the ocean which was nice and the 10 mins close to the beaches.

Cons:

the curtains wasn’t enough privacy because you can see inside of the hotel if there is a small gap, has to use a chair to push the curtain against the window so there was no gap. I could hear people walking outside our door because there was a gap under the door where you can see people’s shadows walk by.

Pros:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at the Quality Inn & Suites on the Bay! The bay views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s in a great location, just minutes from the beach. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the free breakfast was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
