It was suppose to be room with a view but the windows had lost the charge. So you couldn't see outside. If you could've it would've been a view of the fence around the pool. The A/C smelled terrible
This is the least expensive hotel in the entire Pensacola Beach/Gulf Breeze area. I literally did a search at the beginning and end of the busy season. I have stayed at the 5 star hotels, eaten at the highest respected restaurants and been shopping to by my own beach condo (not cheap) right here. My friends did not believe me but after staying at “luxury condos” after staying at the Quality Inn- I Truly MISS the Quality Inn!!! (Never thought I’d hear myself say that either.
Here’s the thing: it was fun there. It was relaxed. Guests were friendly with each other and interacted sharing food and kids toys and the VIEW was the BEST I had. Better than Gulf view @ the resorts. Better than the Bay Views at the most expensive condos. Why? The SUNSET was gorgeous and it was an unobstructed view from your room, the pool or the beach!
The little beach owned by the hotel was actually my favorite in the area! Private but homey and friendly. You could make a picnic with others or take food from the on-site restaurant. The grocery store was a minute away and WITHOUT BRIDGE TRAFFIC.
It was the most mellow place around. You could truly relax. No hassles with housekeeping they would clean or not as you liked. No disturbances. They would help with your luggage and very happy for any tips.
Most of the staff here is from the Caribbean islands and new here because please remember a lot of Islands like Jamaica were completely wiped out last year due to hurricanes. Their families are suffering and they came here as a “Hail Mary” to survive. They are in the midst of the worst personal struggles. Staying at this hotel isn’t the most stylish but at least you can truly help people just be being here. If you need help- outside of traditional hospital- these are the true humans who will help you out of kindness- even off the clock. I can’t say that for anywhere else.
They also have HUGE family rooms that hold 6-10 people. Call and ask if you want those. They face the sunset and have their own porch:balconies. Far better than being crammed in a hotel room or a condo elsewhere.
This place feels like family- not a corporation. So look past the older microwaves and appreciate most hotels here wont even give you a fridge. Your kids are safe in the fenced in family style pool and the water is my favorite for swimming on the whole island. They have a breakfast- same as any Hampton/Holiday Inn/etc. So for the best price on the island…
Try it. Just be happy and relax here.
El personal y el desayuno. La playa directa desde el hotel.
Necesita actualizar el mobiliario.
Location
Very outdated. Not very clean. Comforter was stained. It looked like somebody got locked into the bathroom and broke out, it looked like the door was kicked from the inside out in the bathroom and covered with plaster and paint. The shower head was super low, I’m 5-11 and it was at my neck.
This an older property but well maintained. The room was spacious and clean. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and TV. The only complaint is that for the size of the room the TV was a little small. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. The front desk staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The motel is in a good area and close to many restaurants, venues, etc. Also, the view of the bay from our room was very nice and there was a small patio with chair provided so that we could sit outside and enjoy the view. I would definitely consider staying at the hotel the next time I travel to the Pensacola area.
Staff is very nice, the bay view is beautiful, breakfast is great
THE BEDS ARE AWFUL
The staff were nice overall. It's not their fault that this is such a low quality hotel.
The room I stayed in was terrible. It had an awful smell, like smokers had stayed there (even though it is now designated as non-smoking) and it hadn't been aired out in months. The floor in the shower was pealing off and the bathroom had no working vent or windows one could prop open, which added to the bad smell and stuffiness of the room. The walls were so thin, I could hear everything from neighboring rooms, from barking dogs, conversations, TV and cars parking. I could also hear all the traffic from the HWY right in front of the hotel all of this because of the thin walls. The blanket under the covers was torn and the breakfast served was the same bland high-carb breakfast every day. If it wasn't for not being able to get any credit or money back from using Booking, I would have canceled my reservation and stayed at the Holiday Inn next door!
Easy to get to, great value.
The room view looked nothing like what we had. Shower was busted.
