The location and lobby
Hot tub was broke microwave didn't work it was dirty the hallways were soaked with water .it was cold
The bed was very comfortable.
There was nothing I did not like.
Das Frühstücksbuffet hätte üppiger sein können, war aber trotzdem nicht schlecht.
Location
Dirty thin mattress and No bed linen for sofa bed in tge room.
When we asked for one. the lady in the front desk was so rude. We had to wait 2 hours till 1 am we told her that we have kids we want to sleep she was very annoyed. After a long wait My husband had to go to request it again in person and waiit for anothe 30 minutes so she sent someone to get it.
I’ve stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton multiple times. The front desk staff is always friendly, and the main lobby area is clean and welcoming. The price is reasonable, which makes it a good option for short stays.
I consistently notice the hallways could use more attention—they often have dust or papers on the floor. The microwaves in the hallway are also dirty. The pool and hot tub are difficult to enjoy as an adult because there are usually a lot of kids using the area. It would be great if the hotel offered a designated adult-only time.
The beds are okay for a one-night stay, though a bit firm, while the pillows are soft and comfortable. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, could definitely use some updating. Overall, it’s a decent stay, but a few improvements could make it much better.

The hospitality was 100/100 and I love the way the hotel smells. The whole setup of the waiting lobby was so soothing with the water fall fountain, the comfortable chairs and TVs. Everything was so beautiful, I'll be booking again.
They gave me a time for free breakfast but when I got there to make my plate, the lady said $25. I had to put my plate back. I was checking out on that day anyways, so I said I'll just eat when I get home. I'm Christmas budgeting lol so I said next time.
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The accommodations were lovely Marcia at the front desk was fantastic and she made sure that all the Hockey kids were taken care of.
A/C is covered by a lot of dust.
The lobby!
The bed did not have a mattress foundation. My husband is 83 years old, having him get up from a bed that's 15 inches from the floor is very bad! The bathroom was out dated.
The lobby!
The bed was 15 in from the floor
I really liked the hotel and lobby has lots of charm and character. It was a great choice for our stay! Everyone was so friendly, and I appreciated the Diamond status recognition (and those warm cookies!). I’m a big HiltonHonors fan, and the DoubleTree brand is always a solid travel pick and it’s just nice to receive an inviting and friendly welcome.
The hotel is big! Like a maze. I looked it up and there are 347 guest rooms covering 5 floors & 12,000+ square feetMeeting/event space. We stayed in Room 540, and while the hallway had a bit of a smoke smell, the rooms are nonsmoking, so not sure what that was about. Minor details, wear and dust, but still 5 stars based on amenities and service. I only found one Ice machine working too on 4 of the floors.
Helpful tip: Door 3 is closest to the elevators when entering from the parking lot! Another guest shared that with me and it saved some walking!
No real issues during the stay other than the ice machine and would absolutely stay here again. We chose this location to be close to The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation but a solid choice if you want to stay outside of Downtown Detroit.
The Double Tree in Dearborn MI has an excellent restaurant and the staff is very friendly especially Andrea at the bar. The hotel rooms are due an update but are clean and quit and feels like a safe place to stay.
