Hotel ok, really bad staff
Pros:

Hotel is in a nice location, the room had everything, the bed was nice.

Cons:

The hotel isn't bad, but the staff is very bad. I came at around 15.30 - the checkin is supposed to start at 15.00 and they told me that my room isn't ready yet, it is being cleaned, and that they have no other room. After complaining it turned out they multiple other rooms, just didn't want to check me in. Also, while I was there, people without reservation entered to ask for a room and they confirmed they have a lot, and actually the price was lower than on booking, despite my genius discount.

Internet a bit slow, room smelled when i entered.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 4 night stay in the Masa Hotel 5 de Outubro. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staff at the reception desk were very friendly and willing to help with any query. Great location for exploring Lisbon with a short walk to Metro station nearby. Great value for money and would recommend Masa Hotel 5 de Outubro highly to any couple or group of friends that wishes to have a clean and comfortable base to explore the delights of Lisbon.
