Had a great time. Sad that the Funicular was out of action but local buses from the main Filey Road
Pros:

Lovely spacious room. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Parking on street was free with ticket from hotel and also plentiful. Beautiful sea views, lovely clean and comfortable room and beds.

Cons:

Bathroom and shower was small. No cat swinging possible. I am 5' 3" and 48kg.
Dinner menu limited and a little pretentious. Soup was excellent but main was disappointing for the price.
Wine selection limited. Only supplied by the bottle...I couldn't drink the one I chose. (Chardonnay)

Hidden gem
Pros:

Very nicely decorated, the view out to the sea was beautiful to wake up to. Staff were super friendly and arranged for us to have a slightly early breakfast as we had an early meeting. Nothing was too much trouble

Shower pressure wasn’t amazing

Fabulous friendly Hotel.
Pros:

All the staff at this Hotel made my stay feel special with a very relaxed atmosphere and lovely decor. Great facilities. Cosy reading room and fabulous Restaurant. The cooked breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

I had a single room which was the only one available as the Hotel was fully booked. The room was a bit small with no view which felt a bit claustrophobic but saying that it had everything you needed and the bed was comfy.

very nice hotel in great location lovely staff
Pros:

nice choice at breafast served to you . dinner in the cecil restuarant was really nice our room was fine kept very clean with a breakfast tray of selection of tea coffee biscuits .

Cons:

pillows could be better quite high and lumpy

Great place to stay !!
Pros:

Everything was top notch, the decor, ambiance and staff were great throughout. Brilliant breakfast to start the day with great sea views from the forward facing rooms.

Cons:

Could do with a secure car park as unfortunately my vehicle was keyed whilst parked on an adjacent street. NOT the hotels fault, I’d be happy to return and source alternative parking arrangements
