Lovely, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.
It was nice to be served at the table for breakfast.
Breakfast was very good, with enough choice. There was always plenty of staff on duty at meal times.
The Weston prides itself on its restaurant, Cecils. We ate two dinners there and were very happy with the quality, service and value for money.
Upon request it was possible to have fresh milk in a jug for tea and coffee in the bedrooms, which was a nice surprise.
The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. There is a very comfortable lounge area for guests to enjoy.
Our room was quite small, but had a view of the sea and Scarborough harbour. It was peaceful and relaxing, and we were able to walk to the Italianate Gardens, as well as the Spa complex nearby.
We were grateful for the lift in the hotel, as well as plenty of on-street parking, for which permits were provided by the hotel.
We realise there were some space restraints and my husband found the shower space was rather restricted.
(He has Parkinsons).
A little too much furniture in our room, 3 chairs and an extra table!
Most staff were excellent and helpful. The location was good.
The food was also very good and this includes the meal that we ate on the last night.
A small jug of normal milk was provided if asked for in order to have a decent cuppa in your room.
The water flow for the shower was absymal and for that reason alone we will not return here. Another guest had also mentioned this to us just prior to our checking out. The toilet flusher had also broken while we were there and it took housekeeping two days to find this fault. To the hotel's credit, we were informed that a plumber was on site and dealing with the issue and were given a free drink to compensate for the nuisance factor.
The cleanliness was not great throughout the premises with sticky tables in the restaurant, dust on the fan and on top of the cupboards in the room itself.

The comfort double room was very small for 2 people. The bed was small size not wide enough or long enough. Bathroom was clostraphobic!
Location and although on street parking disc provided and felt safe to park car as usually pick hotel with private parking

Breakfast better than meal in evening
Tastefully decorated, clean and convenient. Beautiful views from a fabulous room on the second floor. Breakfast is superb value and excellent choices. Coped admirably with special diets too. We will be going back!
I’m really struggling to think of anything. Parking is on street but we managed to get really close to the hotel and even in August there was plenty of space.

Einchecken war zum Glück schon früher möglich. Der Blick vom Hotel auf die Stadt war zwar schön, doch liegt es außerhalb. Wollte man nicht im Hotel zu Abend essen, musste man notgedrungen doch ein Stück in die Stadt laufen.
Extrem hellhöriges Hotel ! Bei der Außenansicht des Hotels hätte ich dies nie erwartet. Mein Zimmer war zwar im 2. Stock , doch konnte ich das Fernsehprogramm der Nachbarn hören. Früh am Morgen waren bereits die Schritte der Bewohner von oberhalb zu hören !
Frühstück wird im Restaurant serviert, doch ab 08 Uhr für mich viel zu spät !
Fenster war nicht zu öffnen. Der Spiegel im Zimmer war so angeordnet, dass ich nur meinen Bauch sehen konnte !
Mit 158 GB pro Nacht war das Hotel damit viel zu teuer.
