so so but wouldn’t want to book this hotel again.

Cons:

staff amend my booking by saying my room have some issues and want downgrade it with complimentary extra bed or 3D2N FOC next booking, but when i throw a fit, then they say it’s available.

An enjoyable stay - room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
Pros:

The check-in was friendly, patience and very helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Good breakfast. We had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Cons:

Location is not convenient. Not within walking distance to any shopping or eating places.

Pros:

Very good value and close to the train station JB central. Room was clean and amenities in the room were great. Staff very friendly and the food at the cafe and breakfast was really decent.

Cons:

Construction happening right next to the hotel so you cant really walk around, need to cab a lot.

Very small and crowded swimming pool. Felt like it’s in the middle of nowhere - no surrounding greenery and a major road right in front of the hotel

I like staying at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru because of its consistent comfort, convenient location, and generally reliable service, which has made it my go-to choice whenever I’m in JB.

Cons:

I’ve stayed at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru multiple times over the past few times now (around 5-6 stays), and it has usually been my go-to option whenever I’m in JB. Overall, my past experiences have been positive, which is why I continue returning.

However, this recent stay highlighted a couple of issues that were quite disappointing for a property of this standard.

Firstly, during check-in, the staff forgot to return my passport. I only realised this after going up to my room and had to head back down to retrieve it. This is not a minor oversight — handling guests’ identification documents should be a basic and critical part of the check-in process.

Secondly, it was heavily raining during my stay, and there were no umbrellas available in the room or at the concierge. When I asked, I was informed that they were waiting for stock from HQ. Given that the hotel has been operating for quite some time, this felt like a lack of operational preparedness, especially in a country where heavy rain is common.

While I still appreciate the overall consistency of the hotel from my previous stays, these lapses did affect the experience this time. I hope the management can address these gaps, as I would otherwise still consider staying here again in the future.

Perfect location, clean rooms, good breakfast and warm staffs.
Pros:

Clean room, cosy and comfy bed which my wife loves. Widespread breakfast. Great location. Great view. Most importantly very very warm and accomodating staffs. Spacious car park.

Cons:

None so far - all seemed perfect for our past few stays..
Traffic can sometimes get heavy.
No dine in room service at night.
