Loved the decor , the balcony , the cornered room so had windows on 2 walls and loved my view. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet.
I booked a few weeknights at Keswick to get away from the city and the heat. I was very happy with the resort. First, the rooms are spacious, beautiful, and well-designed. The infinity pool has incredible views of the golf course, a very attentive and friendly staff, and a great menu of cocktails and food. I spent one cloudly day at the spa - the facilities are elegant and relaxing. Don't miss booking a treatment. Finally, had a great meal at Marigold and enjoyed room service throughout. Will definitely return!
Keswick is well worth the time and expense. All the staff, front desk to housekeeping are professional and genuinely welcoming. We go for the horizon pool which is delightful (as are the pool staff) , to enjoy wonderful meals at Marigold (which has a great selection of vegetarian dishes for my wife!) and the overall comfort of the rooms. Perfect getaway spot!
Amazing hotel. We arrived after a long drive, used the complimentary valet parking. We got upgraded to a beautiful room. Went straight to the infinity pool, drinks served were excellent. We had dinner and breakfast at the Marigold restaurant, excellent service and food. Visited the golf shop, wished we stayed another day do we could have played a round, course looked amazing. Best asset of the resort is the very friendly staff, we loved our stay, would love to come back
My wife and I just returned from a few days at Keswick Hall, and honestly, we’re still thinking about it. From the moment we pulled up, the staff made us feel like we were the only guests there—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly kind without ever being over the top.
The property is absolutely stunning. The views of the rolling hills on the golf course are straight out of a postcard, and the entire place feels like a perfect blend of classic elegance and modern comfort.
We loved the pool—it’s peaceful, beautifully laid out, and just a great place to relax and reset.
Dinner at was awesome. Every dish was spot on, and the setting struck that perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. We also grabbed a few more casual bites at other spots on the property and were impressed every time.
Every single person we interacted with was gracious, professional, and genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great experience. It’s rare to find a place that feels this special. We left feeling completely recharged—and already talking about when we’ll be back.
THIS is a guilty pleasure. Love the location and isolation of this property. They have a couple dining options and great room service.
Most importantly, they’re pet friendly and my “boys”, Louie and Logan are treated like rock stars.
Great walking grounds, and the rooms are fabulous where you just want to stay in and relax.
Beautiful grounds! Clean, fresh, open vibe.
I love how they cut the fresh flowers from their gardens and put them in pretty vases around the common areas.
Beautiful views from the infinity pool! We had a drink in the deck and it is lovely.
The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and very quiet.
Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at the spa. We arrived and were told we wouldn’t have time to use the sauna since our appointment was in 10 minutes. However, the woman got out appointment time wrong and we waited in the waiting area for 30 minutes. When I went to ask how late they were running, we were told our appointment was 30 minutes later. They never apologized or even explained. We had to leave after the appointment so we couldn’t enjoy any amenities which is part of what you pay for. I think there needs to be better staff training and consistency in messaging. Until then, it’s not worthy the prices and I recommend skilling the spa
Everyone and everything was wonderful
Took my daughter for a trip instead of a baby shower. It was the perfect location. Once there only left once for dinner and we should not have. From check in to check out it was great. We had a great room, enjoyed spa treatments, the restaurant a few times, the bar (Mocktails and snacks) the coffee shop, room service and more. Was truly a relaxing trip- and i will find a time to go back with my husband. Only thing holding it back from a 5 rating is a few of the staff members (mainly spa) were not as fabulous as others and mani/pedis were like wet noddles.
Perfect for a little getaway to relax. They recently had a large renovation and the rooms are amazing, especially the showers. There are sustainable, eco- friendly touches throughout the resort as well.
It unfortunately was raining during my stay, so I did not get to enjoy my balcony overlooking the green. However it led me to the adorable library off the bar, complete with cozy fireplace and a Beauty and the Beast style book ladder!
The staff were incredibly friendly from valet to the lovely server at Marigold. The food is locally sourced and presented beautifully.
Also, conveniently close to downtown, which is its own fun little adventure. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.
Beautiful resort with amazing staff and service. From the bellman to the check in staff and restaurant waitstaff, everyone was pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. The area behind the lobby had comfortable seating and board games by a warm fireplace. Multiple tennis courts and year around heated outdoor pool were wonderful amenities. Will definitely come back!
We stayed at Keswick Hall to celebrate our anniversary.
Pros:
Staff are super friendly
Beautiful resort
Spa is nice
Cons:
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. They use 2 twins to make a king and add a think pillow top which made it really uncomfortable. For this price- I expect better mattresses. Both my husband and I got maybe 4 hrs of sleep. We checked out early morning because we couldn’t sleep.
Pillows are super soft- no variety.
No welcoming package, map of the resort or a quick summary of the property was provided at check-in. When I asked for a map, they handed me a postcard with a tiny picture of the resort.
1 wedding party took over the bar & lounge areas the entire weekend. It was a bit overwhelming.
Spa steam room was closed
No coffee machine in room- free grip coffee downstairs
No mini bar with choices in snacks in the room- however, the mini frig had 2 kind bars, 1 bag of potato chips, 2 pepsi, 2 waters, 1 ginger ale.
The counter - coffee shop is very limited in beverage and food selection
Recommendations:
Spa facial and massage - both were excellent.
Golf course is beautiful- husband enjoyed it.
Crawford- bar
Marigold restaurant is average but ambiance is nice.
We had a very memorable time at Keswick Hall! I am so glad we had an opportunity to stay and dine here! Well done!!
I am checking out tomorrow morning and am sad to go. I came to Charlottesville for plastic surgery and stayed at Keswick Hall for a week post procedure. I was beyond impressed with the kind, respectful care that the entire staff provided during my stay. I looked like I had been hit by a Mac truck, but, that did not matter to the staff, they all treated me with such kindness and respect. The rooms are clean and quiet, I slept like a baby in the wonderful beds and the room service food was delicious. Near the Keswick there is a nice neighborhood that was lovely to walk through. They even brought an extra fridge for my protein shakes etc which was a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again!
I’ll start by saying the property is absolutely gorgeous. The pool has a beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. The room was beautiful with a large shower, closet, and tv. We had a beautiful view of the pool. The bed was also super comfy and loved the turn down service every night.
The only negatives are it was kind of loud in our room. We could hear people and doors closing in the hallway. Felt like the room was always a little bit warm regardless of where we set the thermostat. Shower head took a really long time to drain so would drip for a really long time but don’t think it was actually leaking.
Beautiful resort with a elegant demure decor
The grounds are well kept
Staff was very friendly
Great restaurant on property
Beautiful room and property overall!
Very attentive staff
Thanks Arnaud!
Excellent staff very beautiful property
Outstanding location. Great pool with food and drink service. Vibe was a bit too White though. Rooms easy to use and had a great bath. The spa was wonderful. EV chargers were a big plus, too and key in us choosing the spot. Staff very kind. Close to Charlottesville.
