I would stay there again because of the restaurant.
Pros:

The location was good. The breakfast was cooked as ordered. The presentation was excellent. I did appreciate the window treatments actually covered the window.

Cons:

I didn’t appreciate that there was no ice near our room. Also, the room was large but the bathroom was small. The tv was in a bad spot to watch from a chair.

It's a great location ... easy to get to and easy to get to other places of interest.
Pros:

Room was great - bar was great - people were wonderful. Loved the mural above the bed! The location was good.

Cons:

There was a large swatch of black hair in our shower when we got there. The breakfast: It was quite expensive. Would have liked to have "small portion" offering. Sweet rolls, fruit, cereal etc. would have been nice.

Hotel Don Fernando de Taos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Pros:

Check-in time is 4 pm, and check-out is 11 am. There was no flexibility for an earlier check-in.

On the positive side, the pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were soft and cozy. The water pressure and temperature were excellent, which made for a refreshing shower. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, which made for a restful night’s sleep.

However, the hotel lacked a few basic amenities. There was no tea provided in the room, so if you enjoy a warm drink, be sure to bring your own microwave-safe mug and tea bags. The room also had only plastic cups for water and coffee, which felt cheap. To top it off, there was no complimentary coffee station in the lobby—something most hotels offer as a simple convenience.

While in the lobby, I witnessed the front desk manager acting in what I felt was an unprofessional manner toward a guest who was voicing a concern.

All in all, the stay was decent, but with a few key improvements, it could’ve been much more enjoyable.
