Harrah's Council Bluffs – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Given 3 different rooms until we got one that didn’t have beer bottles everywhere and was cleaned. Front desk laughed and thought it was funny every time we came back to get a new room. Had to haul suitcases up and down 3 times and front desk said they had no way to tell if room they were putting us in was clean or not. They kept laughing and thought this was hilarious that their computer system was giving them bad info. Also charged 15 dollars upon check-in for hotel tax that wasn’t disclosed when booking. Room we ended up getting wasn’t vacuumed and didn’t have towels or soap. So mad at that point we just took it and asked front desk to clean room and they wouldn’t because cleaning crew was gone for the day. They laughed and thought it was funny again.

Room was real nice and clean chk in fast and easy. Courteous front desk. Would recommend to anyone.. looking forward to a hot bath and good rest

Stay was great, motel room was very nice. If the casino floor was totally non smoking it would be great

Usually this hotel is clean and I’m not certain if the hotel is at fault or some other person . It could of hitched a ride in.. possibly

The room was nice and the staff was friendly.

Parking was great with a parking garage option for free! Staff was super friendly and when I asked for more towels, they had them at the counter and didn't have to go back somewhere to get them! Room was great, bed comfy, shower and towels were good. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was quick.

The hotel was fine. The room was very spacious. The problem is that you can still smell cigarette smoke even in the hotel rooms. You can't escape it. We were on the 5th floor but no amount of filtration can keep the cigarette smoke from spreading thru the hotel.

It appeared that they did not sweep the bathroom floor because we found a lot of hair on the floor.

Casino was great,we had good time there.

Nice place to stay

It was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room next to us had screaming, fighting, stuff being thrown for over 4 hours and nothing was done about it. The gal walked out into the hallway and screamed obscenities three times out by the front desk and nothing happened. Didn’t get to sleep until 4:00am in the morning. Staff did nothing to stop the noise and fighting that was happening. Told the help at the front desk and they didn’t even care that this happened. Very disappointed on my first time staying at Harrah’s.

Room was updated and clean. I couldn’t figure out how to get the outlets in the bathroom to work so didn’t end up taking a shower (since I need to blow dry and use a flat iron on my hair). Bed and pillows was comfortable. Room was freezing (60) degrees when we got in but thankfully when I hit the thermostat up to 68, it warmed up very quickly. Overall, I would love to stay there again and would recommend it to all.

I stayed at this location for the Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats concert at Stir Cove, the venue connected to the casino.
Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. I was at to sign an electronic agreement of the usuals… No pets, no smoking, no illegal drugs, etc. Fastest elevators took me to my room on the sixth floor, and when I opened the door, I was hit by a strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room. I immediately called down to the front desk to let them know my discovery and to inform them that I did not want to switch rooms but wanted it noted that I was not the person smoking in the room. It stayed the entire duration of my trip. I would’ve asked to change rooms, but my room overlooked the river and had a great view of the concert stage. Turns out I didn’t need that view because I sat on the lawn for the entire show, but it was disappointing how bad the smell was. When I unpacked after returning home, my clothes reeked of cigarette smoke. Gross.
