Cons:

Please check the tub water knob. It was hard to pull. A Sign might help if it continues to be stiff. At the first when we tried we were afraid we might break it if pulled harder.

Visit on our way back to WI.
Pros:

A shout out to Mary at the front desk who was very helpful and friendly. The guy in the pub who was wearing 3 hats that night was also friendly and on top of things, and cooked us a nice meal. The morning breakfast was also very nice! We were very comfortable and will definitely stay there again when we are in that area!

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay. We were with friends, and we enjoyed the lounge area with our kids. The staff was great and our room was nice. We will stay again when we visit Decatur.

Clean facilities, worth the stay to avoid driving home after partying all day.
Pros:

Safe haven to fall asleep after long day at the barstool open.

Cons:

People being very noisy in the hallway and next door between 2-4 am, and no complimentary water bottles in the room.

Breakfast was amazing! They did an excellent job! Reminded me of the breakfasts in the old days

Cons:

I liked the fact that we were a little out of the way of the Forsythe road construction, standard fast food and chain restaurants and traffic and exorbitant taxes added to the hotel rates. This a great deal. But it does look kind of deserted. My wife's reunions are usually held here and that is what made us realize that this place is a great place to stay. I hope they stay open! I worry about them.
Whoever is managing it now is doing a great job keeping it all together.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Staff was super friendly and the slot machines were never too crowded.

Cons:

The whole place is so dark and in the middle of no where. Elevators were broken. Barely any snacks in the snack room. Shower was impossible to turn on, I had to get help from the front desk. I stayed in a Hilton on the way back that was 10x nicer for half the price.

Cons:

Today dec 30th I am waiting to still receive my handicap placard that happened to fall out of my car during my stay..received a call from desk telling me they found it and their manager would mail it to me in the coming days .. I am still waiting, so I call to now find out they need me to pay for a stamp after all this time..I could have driven back for it... the question is when we're they gonna let me know...
