The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the grounds, rooms, and facilities are not well kept.
Pros:

Every staff person that I encountered was great! They waived my incidental fee after telling them it had been misplaced or stolen. They were very accommodating! The breakfast was also great. They had a wide variety of hot choices, pantry choices, and fresh choices.

Cons:

The curb appeal of this place was terrifying. The grounds are not well kept, and it almost looks an abandoned building. The inside had moments of appeal, but most of it looked extremely worn down. It was like they couldn't keep up the building, so they just started giving up. My son called it "the backrooms hotel" because there were so many places with the lights sht off which left these creepy, long hallways with no lights, just hallways with doors. The main reason I booked this hotel was for the pool, but we were EXTREMELY disappointed with the temperature of the water. It was FREEZING; we didn't even make it past our waists. The room itself was eh. The TV was extremely small. The shampoo bottle was detatched from the wall (obviously broken) while the other ones stayed up. The bed was not comfortable... felt old. The blanket had many small holes in it which caused these little feathers to be EVERYWHERE (including our clothes). The TV remote was missing the back of it, and it didn't even work. This place seemed like at one point it was a very fine hotel, but it is definitely not anymore.

its ok but to say there all booked up its always empty and the guest are ghosts because no one is booked up in that hotel but i love staying there id like to work with the current owners i know they own the gas station alot of stuff but who are they id like to host events

theres things that can be better but it comfortable professional clean can be cleaner amenities that can be better but overall id book over and over again thanks sonia the general international hospitality host hotel investor owner critic has returned from elites govt

OK, served the purpose for 1 night.

Location to the place I needed to go worked for me.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner. There was a used towel hanging on hook on the back of the bathroom door; there was used soap bars in the tray inside the shower.

Abandoned in the storms

The family time

Cons:

Staff rude, refused us towels... There was a blackout from a storm and we saw zero staff, nobody notified us of any information.. our hotel room doors wouldn't work so had to prop open the doors to go find out what was going on.. the doors to go outside were locked and we couldn't get back in if we did go outside... there were fire hazards everywhere with multiple extension cords plugged into the walls.. no microwaves in the rooms

A pretty place. Maybe not as popular as it once was, but friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a very pretty place.
The staff was VERY nice and helpful!
Breakfast was nice. Hot and other various items to choose from. Attendant was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Water pressure in the toilets and shower were not very good. No microwave in the room. None of the restaurants or extras in the photos were open during our stay.

Met our needs but would not be somewhere I'd stay again.
Pros:

Breakfast was okay- french toast sticks were terribly hard but there were a few other options for kids. The pool was nice, and we were the only people there. We had issues with 2 rooms, but the front desk lady was amazing and helped us move rooms so that we had working AC and linens on the beds.

Cons:

The hotel was a ghost town, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it seemed like there were only 3 other families or people in the entire hotel. The first room's AC didn't work. The second room we were moved to did not have any bedding. The pool hallway and bathrooms were trashed.
