Perfect location, clean, comfy & friendly staff.
Pros:

Perfect stay, central for where we needed to be. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and beds comfy. Staff were very friendly.

The Bear was ideal for a one night stop over and provided all we needed.
Pros:

Located within a town with many period building, The Bear being one of them. All the staff was friendly and attentive.

Cons:

Sadly the evening meal was 7/10 and a bit average, on the flip side the breakfast was 10/10.

A base for a road trip down south
Pros:

The breakfast and staff being very welcoming

Cons:

The inn has two buildings, one very close to the pub and the other one opposite. The closest one has nicer rooms. One of the two rooms we had was in the more distant building and it was a bit smelly.
